The scenery along the Xiuguluan River is truly worthwhile. It doesn't have to be thrilling; just sitting on the boat and slowly drifting along feels wonderful. At the end, there's even a delicious zongzi to eat, which I think is fantastic 🫶🏻

This is a very chill, comfortable, and relaxing place. It's surrounded by farmland and undeveloped land, located deep within an alley. The alley road isn't difficult to drive on, and it's very quiet with no neighboring houses. The pool water, in particular, is from a mountain spring, making it very cool and incredibly clean, unlike typical pools that have a chlorine disinfectant smell.

This time, I went on a two-day, one-night trip to Hualien with my family. Although the Mizuho Hotel is not a luxury hotel, the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The beds are Simmons brand, which are quite comfortable. Each room has a hot spring tub, so for those who enjoy hot springs, Mizuho is a good choice. The breakfast the next day was simple, with not many options, and the taste was just average. Overall, the hotel's accommodation fee is not cheap, but because it's close to the station, Mizuho is a good option if you're not driving, like us.

such a beautiful hotel with deco that are so unique and well arranged. we had one night stay while driving from taitung to yilan, stop over at Ruisui. we met the owner- a kind gentleman who build this hotel. short drive to the town with food choices
