Things to do in Hue

Visited the ancient historical temples and buildingsnin Vietnam. The guide did an amazing job in explaining the history of every historical building in Hue City. A really lovely and funny tour guide. The food is really unique and flavorful. Had a great time along the trip. Highly recommended.

A truly perfect day trip! Tour guide Vien contacted me via VX the morning before, and sent the license plate number the next morning, picking me up right on time. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable, and surprisingly, the group lunch was also delicious! We visited the Tomb of Khai Dinh, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the Hue Imperial City in order. I personally didn't find it particularly tiring, and listening to the explanations made it easier to remember things. It seemed like I was the only one in the group who spoke Mandarin, and I was worried that I wouldn't understand anything since my English isn't very good, but in reality, I was able to understand most of it. Vien explained the thirteen emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam, the architectural regulations of the Imperial City, and some Vietnamese history. I learned a lot, and I am very grateful to the guide and driver for a perfect day trip in Hue~

The tour was enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel pick up and drop off was well organized. The Hue Imperial citadel was a masterpiece! Also visited, Thien Mu Pagoda and the Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. Candy was very detailed in her explanation. She was very patient and friendly. Enjoyed the Vietnamese lunch too! Highly recommend this tour.

our guide was very knowledgeable on history and super answered all questions asked about the area and the war. An enjoyable yet enlightening experience. Highly recommended for those whose want to learn more about history of Vietnam.

we really enjoyed the trip learning about the history of vietnam and we got to go to a boat but sadly it rained so hard!

We purchased our tickets online around 11 pm and they were confirmed early the next morning at 5:30 am, which allowed us to start using the three admissions around 9 am. Entry was very smooth—at the Imperial City and the two tombs, we simply showed the QR code to the security and they scanned our tickets with no issues at all. Buying online saved us time since we didn’t have to wait in line, and it was convenient to use a credit card instead of paying cash at the entrance. Overall, it was a great deal and a very hassle-free experience.

Bought tickets from Klook, very convenient, just scan at the entrance, no need to exchange any tickets. The place is not very big, but it's good for taking pictures, going early in the morning is good, there are fewer people.

It was okay, the itinerary is okay but it was quick. It would be better if we have more time so we can take pictures. The guide is accommodating.

We recommend arriving 20 minutes early to board the boat and secure a seat in the front, as the back has motor noise that can interfere with the viewing experience. The performers are excellent, making it a great introduction to traditional music culture! (Many of the local audience members on board are also very well-mannered!)
