Da Nang: Hue Imperial City Full-Day Tour with Heritage Train

we had a fantastic experience at the tour with Sam and team! it was our second time in Da Nang in last 3 years and this tour exceeded our expectations. Big kudos to Sam and team on the overall organised tour.

This was an amazing heritage tour that covered beautiful scenes - Danang Bay, coastline, lagoons, tunnels/hills and history of Vietnam royalty. Sam, our tour guide made our heritage journey all the more enjoyable with his jovial style and excellent knowledge of Vietnam royal lineage, historical dates, palaces, pagodas and tombs. Sam is from the historic city of Hue and proudly shared with us interesting facts. He easily connected with our tour group and proactively gave us tips for safety and cultural etiquette. He made us feel comfortable despite the hot humid weather. I had booked the tour only a day before and was impressed how smoothly VM Tourism made arrangements for me including 2 way transfer from my hotel in Hoi An to Danang Train Station. Excellent communication for car pickup and a great coach driver. The first leg of the tour was in a heritage train which itself was a memorable experience. I recommend visitors to Danang/ Hoi An not to miss this tour with VM. Thank you Sam!

I usually prefer to arrange everything myself when it comes to travel, but booking the "Full-Day Tour of Hue Imperial City and Heritage Train" was definitely the right decision. We secured the promised right-side seats on the Heritage Train. We enjoyed the spectacular views from the train window until we arrived at Lang Co Bay. Afterward, we fully experienced the ancient city of Hue, visiting the Hue Imperial City, Thien Mu Pagoda, and Khai Dinh Tomb, all with detailed explanations from our guide, Sam, who clearly loves Hue. Transportation to and from the hotel and local travel was comfortable in the transporter shown in the photo. The tour lunch was also surprisingly substantial, not what you'd typically expect from a tour meal. All participants, from Australia, Germany, and Japan, were very satisfied!

The trip to Hue was very enjoyable and worthwhile overall. The city is beautiful and historical sites we very interesting to see and learn about. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgable about the locations and history. The train ride itself was very scenic and comfortable. Although the day was very hot and the distance is quite far to travel from Da Nang, it was a great day and I would recommend this tour.

Our Hue day tour in Vietnam was an absolute highlight for the entire family. Our guide, Thor, was incredibly knowledgeable and assistive to us tourists, answering every question with a warm smile. He seamlessly navigated us through the rich imperial history. A major standout was the heritage train ride, which the family thoroughly enjoyed for its stunning views and nostalgic charm. Throughout the day, we deeply connected with Vietnam's vibrant past, learning fascinating stories about the Nguyen Dynasty emperors who ruled from this capital city. It was a perfectly organized, educational, and memorable experience that we highly recommend to anyone visiting Vietnam.

The train ride was awesome! Got to see Hai Van from a different perspective. The Tour Guide, Mr. Sam Nguyen is the highlight of the tour. He is a good storyteller and really knows the history of the places we have visited so well.

Really great experience when join thia trip. Can able to travel with both seneric train and car. The train will depart from Danang station to Lang co station. Then the van will pick up us to each places. Thanks Mr.Thor, our guide is very active and supportive person. Recomment for who need quick tour in 1 day from Danang.
