Fantastic 5.0
We had a big bus to a cozy group of about 12 people. The ride was comfortable since the journey was long but we were given breaks at rest stops along the way. The guides took good care of us. The weather was great and we were given enough time to explore Jogasaki coast and Mt Omuro. The latter was foggy at times and taking a walk around the crater felt mystical because of the fog and illusion of low hanging clouds. It was also cooling to walk around which was a good respite from the hot humid summer.

We had a wonderful experience on this Izu day tour! The meeting point was easy to find, and our driver spoke excellent English, making everything easy to understand. He was also very accommodating, especially whenever anyone needed a bathroom break. Although we were disappointed that Mt. Omuro was closed, the tour operator informed us ahead of time that it would be unavailable from June 15 to 25, which we appreciated. Instead, we visited Izu Shaboten Zoo, and it became one of the highlights of our trip. Interacting with the capybaras was so much fun, and many of the animals roamed freely, making the experience even more memorable. Jogasaki Coast was breathtaking, and crossing the Kadonowaki Suspension Bridge offered incredible ocean views. The seaside train ride was also scenic and relaxing. Even without Mt. Omuro, this tour exceeded our expectations and is one I would happily recommend.

Travelled as a family with 2 adult sons. There were about 16 members in our group and we rode a Toyota coaster which felt a little cramped. Our tour guide was William and he did very well speaking in Chinese and English. At Lake Kawaguchi you have to select if you want the cable car or ship ride. We got both tickets but there was no more time left for the boat ride. At Mt. Fuji 5th station and Owakudani it was very cold and windy. At Lake Ashi we opted for a picture at the torii which had a long queue, instead of hiking to the shrines. The Shuzenji Resort hotel dinner and breakfast was filling with a variety of delicious japanese food, we had a good night's sleep, especially after bathing at the onsen. Were not able to do "Matcha Mountain" but were taken to another park which was our favorite part of the tour because the view & atmosphere was very serene, a less touristy spot. At Enoshima we had a good lunch at our expense, William led us walking and then riding the train to Kamakura.

Sherry, thank you so much for taking us to admire the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji, experience the tranquility of Shuzenji Temple, and savor the exquisite cuisine at the onsen ryokan. Everything was made even more perfect by your meticulous arrangements. Thank you for giving us an unforgettable memory of Japan. We hope to have the opportunity to join another one of your tours in the future! 🇯🇵🗻✨ Tour Guide: Sherry was excellent 👍👍👍👍👍 Itinerary: Excellent Transportation: Excellent Attractions: Excellent Accommodation: Excellent, being able to enjoy the hot springs ♨️ was very comfortable

Fantastic 5.0
Since my two-year-old nephew wanted to visit the Anpanman Children's Museum in Yokohama during our trip to Japan, we hired a private car for the day to avoid the hassle of public transportation. This allowed us to go to Yokohama and then make a stop at the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum on our way back to central Tokyo. Our driver, Master Zhang, was incredibly professional and punctual, and we're very grateful for his patience with our constantly noisy child in the car. We will definitely book his private car service again for our next family trip!

What to know before visiting Izu

What to expect in Izu

This catalogue is led by Tours, which appear across the board and shape the choices travellers make in Izu; the spread concentrates options into guided experiences and day trips rather than a wide variety of activity types. Expect the booking rhythm to peak in August and stay lively through July, with September the quietest month; that means similar tour experiences are easiest to find in August through July and become less common in September. Overall this collection suits travellers who prefer organised outings and clear price bands when planning.

How to choose what to book

A key question is whether you prioritise budget entry or a broader range of options — decide if you want the most affordable way in or the widest range. Tours provide both the most affordable entry point and the widest spread: entry-level options typically run around USD 56, while upper-end bookings typically reach USD 80, so shopping up within tours can change the experience you get.

If you just need a straightforward, affordable activity, the most affordable way in is Tours, with a typical price of USD 57. For travellers looking for mid-range choices where what’s included may vary, Tours again dominate the catalogue and are where you’ll find the most variation in price and style.

How prices compare

Below is a quick view of how the city’s top categories stack up on price so you can set a budget before choosing.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Tours USD 57 USD 56 – USD 80

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
