Things to do in Izu

We had a big bus to a cozy group of about 12 people. The ride was comfortable since the journey was long but we were given breaks at rest stops along the way. The guides took good care of us. The weather was great and we were given enough time to explore Jogasaki coast and Mt Omuro. The latter was foggy at times and taking a walk around the crater felt mystical because of the fog and illusion of low hanging clouds. It was also cooling to walk around which was a good respite from the hot humid summer.

We had a wonderful experience on this Izu day tour! The meeting point was easy to find, and our driver spoke excellent English, making everything easy to understand. He was also very accommodating, especially whenever anyone needed a bathroom break. Although we were disappointed that Mt. Omuro was closed, the tour operator informed us ahead of time that it would be unavailable from June 15 to 25, which we appreciated. Instead, we visited Izu Shaboten Zoo, and it became one of the highlights of our trip. Interacting with the capybaras was so much fun, and many of the animals roamed freely, making the experience even more memorable. Jogasaki Coast was breathtaking, and crossing the Kadonowaki Suspension Bridge offered incredible ocean views. The seaside train ride was also scenic and relaxing. Even without Mt. Omuro, this tour exceeded our expectations and is one I would happily recommend.

Yamamuro san was incredibly patient, thoughtful and accommodative. He is a very careful driver and kept checking in on us. Made our trip to Izu pleasant and enjoyable.

We decided to rent a private car for a day trip to Kawagoe and I am so glad we did. Kawagoe Is the most charming little town with the most amazing shrine and cherry blossom views!! Loved this side quest!!

Sherry, thank you so much for taking us to admire the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji, experience the tranquility of Shuzenji Temple, and savor the exquisite cuisine at the onsen ryokan. Everything was made even more perfect by your meticulous arrangements. Thank you for giving us an unforgettable memory of Japan. We hope to have the opportunity to join another one of your tours in the future! 🇯🇵🗻✨ Tour Guide: Sherry was excellent 👍👍👍👍👍 Itinerary: Excellent Transportation: Excellent Attractions: Excellent Accommodation: Excellent, being able to enjoy the hot springs ♨️ was very comfortable

Our experience on the "Tokyo: Fuji, Hakone, and Izu 2-Day Hot Spring Tour" was fantastic! A special thank you to our guide, Mr. Zhang Ting, whose service was incredibly enthusiastic. He provided detailed introductions to many local specialties and authentic delicacies. The hotel we stayed at was very comfortable, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious. The entire itinerary included many classic and stunning scenic spots, with a moderate and unhurried pace. It was perfectly suitable even for traveling with elderly family members, and I highly recommend it!
