Things to do in Izu

This was a two-day, one-night small group tour in a 10-seater vehicle. Our guide and driver, Zhang Ting, was excellent. He flexibly adjusted the schedule and itinerary based on road conditions, explained the features of upcoming attractions along the way, and clearly reiterated which activities required an additional fee. He also took photos for the group members and was very friendly and enthusiastic. He interacted with everyone throughout the trip. Highly recommended! As for the accommodation, the pillows were too flat, and breakfast was simple and ordinary.

Yamamuro san was incredibly patient, thoughtful and accommodative. He is a very careful driver and kept checking in on us. Made our trip to Izu pleasant and enjoyable.

We decided to rent a private car for a day trip to Kawagoe and I am so glad we did. Kawagoe Is the most charming little town with the most amazing shrine and cherry blossom views!! Loved this side quest!!

The tour guide's arrangements were very smooth, and their time management was superb, making the entire journey relaxed and stress-free. Along the way, they would introduce upcoming attractions and important notes in advance, which helped us understand the itinerary better and built anticipation. Our interactions throughout the trip were easy and natural, creating a great atmosphere. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience, five-star rating!
