What to expect

Embark on this early spring limited Izu romantic journey, from pink cherry blossoms to warm hot springs, and sweet strawberries. Every stop is a healing spring experience 🌸.

  • First stop, Izu Fruit Park, where sunlight shines and the water is clear, nurturing juicy strawberries 🍓. Experience the fun of picking fresh strawberries, and you can even upgrade to 30 minutes of unlimited picking and eating, with the sweetness bursting in your mouth ✨. If there are changes in weather or growth conditions, the itinerary will also be considerately adjusted to other picking spots or replaced with platters of strawberries and local gifts, still full of ritual.
  • Then stroll through Shuzenji—Izu's Little Kyoto, where ancient streets, the Katsura River, red bridges, and bamboo forests intertwine. Every step is like walking into a Japanese movie 📽️. The hot spring date in the Japanese drama "Escape is Shameful but Helpful" was also filmed here, making it a romantic holy place for lovers to pray for happiness 💑.
  • Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch 🍱 at Takitei Onsen Hotel, then soak in the open-air hot spring ♨️ surrounded by mountains, allowing your body and mind to completely relax and immerse yourself in the vacation atmosphere.
  • The highlight—the 2026 Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival 🌸, welcomes a pink spectacle in February. The 6.5-kilometer cherry blossom path is like a pink river, intertwined with yellow rape flowers to form a bright spring picture. Classic attractions along the way: Raikyu Bridge, Toyosumi Bridge, Kawazu cherry blossom original tree. Every shot is a spring color palette 📸.
  • If your departure date is after March 9th, you can also experience Cherry Blossom Village or Jōgasaki Coast Kadowaki Suspension Bridge 🌊, where 1,500 cherry trees and volcanic lava coastlines frame the same picture, perfectly combining the gentleness of spring with the wild nature, making it unforgettable.

* One day to traverse pink romance and coastal scenery, condensing the spring of Izu into the most touching appearance 💖.

I had a lovely day tour, each stop was beautiful and gave us a nice glimpse of the area’s nature and culture. The tour guide, Kousei, was very friendly and shared helpful explanations about each place we visited, as well as interesting sights along the way. He also kindly offered to help take photos. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable tour, and I had a great time exploring these spots. Thank you, Kousei!

This was an amazing Shizouka Sakura day trip. Our tour guide was Tom and he was kind and thoughtful! He guided us well in the trip and we really had fun with the early sakura bloom! 🌸I would recommend this trip if your visiting Japan for the month of February and will not be able to come by March. The Kawazu-Sakura was really beautiful we had enough time in Kawazu for 100 minutes to stroll around Kawazu River and had more sightseeing with the Sakura canopy! Photos were taken February 15, 2026 for future travel reference of Sakura. 🌸🌸🌸Our first stop was Ema Strawberry Picking Center in Izu, followed by Shuzenji Little Kyoto - Bamboo Path, Shuzenji Temple, we had our Japanese pork chop set for lunch in Shuzenji Takitei Onsen Hotel then 30 minutes time for Onsen. And last part of the trip was Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival. 🌸🌸🌸

Jack's explanation was very clear. The itinerary is very full, if you want to do everything you need to have good time management 😂. The all-you-can-eat strawberries were huge and delicious~ But eating them and then going straight to lunch was a bit too much. The onsen was very comfortable. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, I recommend walking across from the shops, it's less crowded and more comfortable.

We arrived at the meeting point on time and boarded the bus to begin our journey. Our first stop was strawberry picking, and the strawberries there were large, fragrant, and quite good. Next, we visited the Shuzenji area. Since lunch wasn't until 12 PM, we had some time to walk around and take photos, which was nice. The schedule felt a bit rushed, as we only had 30 minutes for lunch or a hot spring bath because we needed to get to Izu to see the Kawazu cherry blossoms. Finally, we reached the highlight of the trip, the Kawazu cherry blossoms. The flowers were truly beautiful, and with the excellent weather, it was a truly delightful experience.

t was slightly unfortunate that it's slightly gloomy but the places were still as beautiful as the pictures! Our guide, Leonard, was very attentive and insightful. He also speaks 4 languages which is very impressive. We had a great time! Thank you so much! We were lucky to see a clear view of Fujisan on our way too! The strawberry picking was really fun!

The tour guide was very attentive and took great care of us, providing detailed explanations. However, the journey to Izu was really far. The round trip took almost seven hours. It was tiring being on the bus the whole time. Next time I choose this route, I need to make sure I'm energetic before going.
