Things to do in Gyeonggi

Visited on Dec 15. We took the shuttle from Jongno, and reached around 10.15am. Everland is huge and hilly but well connected with sky lifts and cable cars within the park. Most of the rides were closed in the winter morning hours and they only started operating progressively from 11am onwards (should be due to the lesser crowd so that everyone gather at the same few attractions rather than having few people on each ride). The Hurricane and roller coaster (60-80mins) were very popular while there was minimal queue (0-15mins) for the younger age rides (bumper cars, magic swing, Peter Pan etc). One special attraction was the snow sled snow buster, only available during winter. The food portion was big and the taste was above average, there were plenty of snack stalls and the toilets were very clean. There is also an Olive Young shop for those who needed extra heat pack (lovely fish shaped), lip balm etc. Overall experience was great despite the cold.

Katie is amazing!! Made this trip such an unforgettable experience! The price was very reasonable. The programme was relaxed yet covered everything with a few breaks allowing free time. One of the highlights of our tour was the Alpaca World and Nami Island. We really enjoyed feeding the alpacas and exploring the entire place. At Nami Island, we relaxed and tried biking around the area. Even though the leaves had already fallen, it was still stress-free and the place was still beautiful. We also had so much fun with our tour guide, Jordan — he’s the best tour guide! We will definitely come back and include this tour again next time.

Highly recommended tour. Got to visit four tourist spots in such a cheap deal. We're so lucky that Eobi Ice Valley, Alpaca World and Garden of the Morning Calm are covered with snow that made our visit extra memorable. I commend MAC, our tour guide, for being so kind and accomodating. Will definitely recommend this to my friends. 💯

After the zoo, we took the elephant train to Seoul Land (it's actually not far to walk, but it was too hot, so we chose to take the train). I saw online that admission to Seoul Land was 54,000 won for adults, and a little cheaper for children. I immediately checked Klook to see how much it was. 😱 It turned out to be 40% off! I didn't even have to think about it – I bought the tickets on Klook and used them right away 👍🏼 There were very few people at Seoul Land, so there were no lines for any of the rides, and we could even ride some of them multiple times. My two daughters, one four years old and one twelve years old, were able to enjoy many of the attractions, and they were both super happy😃 The attractions are all close to each other, so you don't have to walk far to get to them. There are also many restaurant choices inside the park 👍🏼 This amusement park is very cost-effective 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Highly recommended (I arrived at 3 PM and was able to play until 9 PM, and we tried all the attractions😆).

Judy was an excellent guide, constantly keeping the tour group energized with her lively attitude, and she did a great job explaining the various attractions in detail. Tours into the DMZ area have a regulated timing of up to 3 hours, so understandably but also unfortunately (through no fault of the tour), the itinerary feels slightly rushed. But it was a good trip overall to get to know more about the DMZ and to experience the tensions between the North and South in person.

Thank you to Coach and Guide Xiaogiang for patiently instructing us, the hearing-impaired students, in both roles. He not only demonstrated skiing techniques with body movements but also carefully taught us hand-in-hand. Special thanks to the female coach Shery, who took care of both visually and hearing-impaired friends. Hard work! There was also a coach who spoke fluent English, but I don't know his name. Thank you to him. In addition, the ski equipment store provides Chinese service, making it very convenient to change equipment. It is recommended that you bring your own waterproof gloves, hip protectors, and knee pads, as these are charged separately here. Skiing is a challenging adventure, a great experience! What does everyone like to eat at the ski resort restaurant when skiing? I'll start by sharing some tempting delicacies I encountered this time.

We met our tour guide Jesse, a very nice and energetic Korean guy, at Hongdae in the early morning and left for a 12-hour tour!!! The tour includes 4 tourist spots: Eobi Valley, Alpaca World, Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm. Jesse arranged everyting perfectly from the email before the tour, lunch places and advices the routes in every spot. My friend and I really enjoying touring with Jesse!!!l

We went to the Henan branch because AQUAFIELD Henan has SMOB Sports Monster. After the teenagers played at Sports Monster for three hours, our family went to the Korean spa together. It was our first time at a Korean spa, so it was very new to us. When we were at a loss, the staff explained everything very kindly, which helped us not to panic. The facilities in the Korean spa were great and the place was large, including various different sauna rooms, as well as baths, foot baths, and of course, shower rooms. The shoe and locker space arrangements were also very good. After purchasing the ticket, we immediately received a voucher and could enter by scanning the QR code at the entrance. The ticket had a number on it, which was the number for the locker and shoe cabinet. The locker key was like a charge card, and all consumption in the Korean spa (eating, massage chairs, playing arcade games) could be charged to the key fob. You have to pay before leaving in order to retrieve your shoes from the shoe cabinet.
