Coses a fer a Guishan Island

I went with friends to Wushih Harbor to take a boat to Guishan Island, and we saw long-beaked spinner dolphins! We were so lucky and happy 🐬 The captain said dolphins have the intelligence of a 6-year-old child and enjoy interacting, so they understand when you clap and cheer! It was so much fun! History ➡️ Residents settled on the island during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, primarily making a living through fishing. The population once reached 700 people. In 1977, due to military needs, residents were forcibly relocated, and the island was closed. The residents moved to Renzhe New Village in Toucheng. In 2000, the island officially opened to tourism.

Va ser la primera vegada que vaig reservar un viatge amb Klook. El dia abans, em van enviar un missatge de text molt detallat amb l'hora i el lloc de trobada (amb fotos), cosa que va ser un gran avantatge! Com que no havia estat mai a l'illa de Guishan, tenia curiositat per saber com seria l'itinerari. No m'esperava que tanta gent participés en l'ascens al cim 401 aquell dia. El guia, el senyor Dong, també va pujar al cim 401 durant tot el recorregut, és realment el guia turístic més treballador de Taiwan. Al matí, tan bon punt vam arribar a l'illa, després d'una breu introducció, vam començar a pujar al cim 401. Aquell dia feia molta calor i humitat, i baixar va ser esgotador. A la tarda, vam fer una volta per l'illa de Guishan amb el vaixell, i el guia a bord va explicar-ho tot amb molta dedicació. Vam tornar cap a les 3 de la tarda.

From the Line customer service, to the check-in counter staff, to the crew members on the boat, everyone made me feel so warm and welcome! Here, I saw Taiwan's most beautiful scenery: "strong human kindness." Even traveling alone, I wasn't afraid of not being taken care of. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience, and thank you to the staff for sharing their knowledge. Next time, I'll remember to get enough sleep and take motion sickness medication! Although the waves were too strong to land on the island today, I saw many friendly and adorable dolphins, the beautiful Yin-Yang Sea, and the Milk Sea. The explanations were also very clear and interesting. Next time, I want to go to 401! It was my first time seeing Guishan Island and dolphins up close, and I was deeply moved. Thank you to nature for its beauty; I hope everyone will help protect it. The park around the harbor and Sunrise Beach are also very beautiful and worth visiting!

Aquest tour és una aventura interessant a la tranquil·la ciutat de Yilan, que cobreix una variada gamma d'atraccions diferents! Vaig gaudir molt del meu temps tot i que viatjava sol, i el recomanaria a qualsevol que vulgui fer alguna cosa menys turística. Un agraïment especial a Peter, que va ser un guia local molt ben informat que va planificar el nostre itinerari meticulosament i va compartir recomanacions clau a cada atracció. Va tenir cura del grup i es va esforçar per mantenir-nos informats en diversos punts del viatge. Va ser un plaer unir-me al seu tour i sens dubte el recomanaria a altres en el futur!

Visiting the Lanyang Museum gave me a deeper understanding of Yilan's natural environment and cultural history. The museum's exterior is famous for its sloping triangular design, inspired by Yilan's common "single-sided mountain" terrain. The building itself is like a work of art, blending seamlessly with the surrounding wetland landscape, leaving a deep impression upon arrival. The museum's exhibits are rich and diverse, offering detailed introductions to everything from Yilan's geological evolution and climatic characteristics to the lifestyles of its early inhabitants. For example, through models and multimedia displays, visitors can learn about the formation process of the Lanyang Plain and how the local people developed unique lifestyles in response to the northeast monsoon and rainy climate. These exhibits are not only informative but also highly interactive, making the visit engaging. I particularly enjoyed the sections that showcase traditional industries and culture, such as fishing, agriculture, and local beliefs. These exhibits convey Yilan's profound human touch and cultural heritage. Through real object displays and recreated scenarios, it felt as if I could see the daily lives of past residents, making history more than just words in a book. Overall, the Lanyang Museum is not just a place to gain knowledge; it's also a space where one can slow down and appreciate the beauty of architecture and nature. This visit allowed me to learn more about Yilan and to cherish Taiwan's diverse and rich local culture even more. If I have the chance, I will recommend this museum to friends and family, so they can experience this educational and aesthetically pleasing museum for themselves.

Portar els nens a provar la pesca de gambes per primera vegada va ser molt divertit! Vam pescar una gamba molt gran poc després d'asseure'ns, i les gambes estaven plenes d'energia! L'esquer era gambeta seca, una mica difícil de posar a l'ham. Les gambes eren bastant fàcils de pescar, vam llogar dues canyes per 70 minuts i en vam pescar 12 cadascun, els nens estaven molt orgullosos! Algunes gambes poden pessigar, hi ha guants disponibles per posar-se, i el personal està disponible per ajudar amb qualsevol problema. Hi ha patates fregides de gambes i begudes disponibles per menjar, incloses amb l'entrada de Klook. També hi ha una competició de pesca de gambes, els primers a pescar-ne durant el mateix període poden recollir una patata fregida de gambes. During the trip, not only was her driving steady and safe, but she also demonstrated great flexibility, always happily accommodating our last-minute requests for minor itinerary adjustments.
