Reservar les nostres entrades en línia just abans d'entrar al Zoo de Taipei va resultar ser una gran decisió, ja que pagar en PHP va ser notablement més barat que comprar-les directament en NTD a la taquilla. Les instal·lacions del zoo són enormes, estan molt ben cuidades i ofereixen un valor increïble, però el moment de la visita és crucial. Arribar a la 1:00 PM ja ens va posar en un horari ajustat, i una tempesta inesperada de dues hores va aturar completament els nostres plans. A causa del retard per la pluja i la gran extensió del parc, no vam poder explorar tot el zoo, però definitivament tenim previst tornar-hi en el nostre pròxim viatge a Taipei. Per a qualsevol que planifiqui una visita, recomano fermament comprar les entrades en línia amb antelació per obtenir la millor tarifa, arribar just quan obre el parc i portar paraigües perquè un xàfec sobtat no us escurci el dia.

We started our morning exploring the zoo’s massive, lush grounds—getting up close with the giant pandas and walking through the impressive Pangolin Dome rainforest. Booking through Klook made entry effortless, letting us skip the main ticket lines using a quick QR code scan, which saved us so much time on a busy day. Right from inside the zoo, we boarded the Maokong Gondola. The 30-minute ride provided breathtaking, panoramic views over the lush mountain canopy and the distant Taipei 101 skyline. Ending the trip with a relaxed pot of local Tieguanyin oolong tea and tea-flavored ice cream at a hillside teahouse made for the perfect afternoon escape from the bustling city center. A must-do experience for families, couples, and solo travelers alike!

The Fun Pass is really useful and great. However, if you try to enjoy all these benefits within a short schedule, your trip might become too exhausting. So, I recommend comparing the monetary value of the benefits you'd get and then making your purchase. For attractions like Yehliu Geopark, Jinguashi, and the Shifen Sky Lantern experience, you might find it more effective to purchase a separate Fun Trip Yehliu-Shifen-Jiufen-Jinguashi (YES FOG JING) bus tour and use them together. Also, as a side note, I recommend adding the Funlab bag-making experience to your itinerary. It's surprisingly fun and provides a cool space for a short break. The wood glue they provide takes a long time to dry after attaching materials, so rather than rushing to sew, it's better to glue the pieces, put them in a plastic bag, carry them carefully, and by the next day, they should be completely dry. Using glue will save you a lot of time.

Li he de donar 5 estrelles per la relació qualitat-preu. Els jubilats (més de 65 anys) i els nens de primària entren gratis, i els adults paguen menys de 2 dòlars! Vaig pagar un extra pel petit tramvia del zoo perquè feia una calor infernal, hi havia centenars d'escolars i els micos no són cap broma! Van robar una ampolla d'aigua directament de la mà d'un nen d'un grup escolar gran (i van fugir amb ella)! La millor part va ser la zona d'aigua, com un parc aquàtic. Tot i que era vella i estava una mica deteriorada, va complir la seva funció de refrescar-nos. Hi ha 3 zones, amb aigua de pluja que cau des de dalt, i dues zones poc profundes amb potser 1-4 polzades d'aigua. Els animals no estaven gaire actius a causa de la calor/sol. No recomano menjar aquí, ja que no hi ha moltes opcions ni són de bona qualitat.

You can just buy tickets on-site; there's no need to wait in line. There's a dedicated e-ticket exchange counter, which felt like a fast pass when taking the kids to the Water Garden. It was great! During the summer, there was also a limited-time inflatable waterslide, about two stories high. My kids were too young to try it, but watching other children slide down and bounce off the inflatable mat before splashing into the water looked very exciting! The waterslides at the Water Garden are all for children, so adults should definitely not slide down with them; the lifeguards will blow their whistles at you. Also, many adults were entering the water in clothes that weren't swimwear, which was quite confusing. It got more crowded as the evening went on, so if you want to enjoy cleaner water, it's best to go early.

One of our group day-tours got cancelled, but we were still able to go to Taipei 101 since we reserved tickets. This was one the highlights of our trip to Taiwan. The tower itself is more beautiful and magnificent in person. Even looking up at it from the street was such a sight to see. YouTube videos and postcards do not do it justice. We had access to the 89th Obseravatory Floor and it was worth it. We were able to get pictures prior to getting on the elevator. The 89th floor offered 360 degree views of Taipei and it was glorious. We were there around 5:45 to 6:45 pm and that was perfect for a golden sunset. The floor had a flux of photogenic backgrounds and props, some adorable cafes and treats, a souvenir shop, the Tuned Mass Dumper section, and the elevators to go up and down the tower. This was an unforgettable experience and easily topped some of my prior tower visits in the USA.

Aquesta va ser una addició d'última hora al meu itinerari de Taipei, i estic molt content d'haver-lo visitat! El Museu de les Miniatures és fascinant, amb una artesania increïble i una atenció al detall en cada exposició. El que més em va impressionar va ser quant hi ha per descobrir si et prens el teu temps i observes amb atenció. Cada escena té petits detalls, elements ocults i tocs creatius que es poden passar per alt fàcilment si vas amb presses. La meva recomanació: reserva almenys 1-2 hores per a la teva visita. Pren-te el teu temps, recorre cada exposició amb cura i aprecia l'art darrere dels mons en miniatura. Si tens pressa, és probable que et perdis gran part de la diversió i la màgia que fan que aquest museu sigui especial. Una experiència única i agradable per a visitants de totes les edats. Sens dubte, val la pena afegir-lo al teu itinerari de Taipei!

Fun experience! We had the kids do DIY and this was just the admission fee to enter and watch. They explained how traditional paper was made in the past with different materials and show you the step to step process in how to make it.

We experienced the 60-minute acupressure massage this time. Both therapists, 31 and 68, had excellent techniques and pressure, and we enjoyed a very relaxing massage. The massage room is shared with other guests, so if you encounter someone who likes to chat or speaks loudly, it might slightly affect the quality of your rest during the massage. Everything else was outstanding, highly recommended!
