The monastery is where monks prayed for Vasco da Gama after he set sail from Belém, and it also served as the living quarters for the monks. Although only a section of the monastery is open—walking around the square courtyard to see the Manueline stonework, azulejo tiles, and ancient tombs—it is deeply impressive and great for photos. The architecture is covered in nautical elements like seashells, ropes, and anchors, echoing the stories of the Age of Discovery. The neighboring church is free to visit, but from the outside, there are two different lines to wait in. Around 1:00 PM is when it is least crowded, and you no longer have to wait in line for the church.

Emilio was our guide and he was very lively, friendly and knowledgeable. effectively showed us around and managed the time very well. I highly recommend this tour even if you are not a tourist like me in Portugal.

Just 10 minuts abans, s'obren les portes i, amb una copa de vi a la mà, ens asseiem a esperar. Primer es projecta un vídeo, després surten dos guitarristes, una dona i un home canten per separat, i al final canten junts. Entre cançó i cançó es mostren vídeos, cosa que és agradable. El senyor, en particular, canta molt bé. Moltes gràcies per l'espectacle! ^^

Una experiència realment bonica. El palau només impressiona per fora, per dins bufa. El veritable punt fort són els jardins: camins sinuosos i racons encisadors. S'hi podrien passar hores.

We enjoyed tour with variety of qine testing. Tour guide, Thomas explained history of Porto and economy and industry of Porto. It was insightful. Also a driver Carlos drives very gentle and make the long journey comfortable. Food was good and only thing I would like to mention about a quality of coffee. I didn't drink coffee after a bit of test the coffee and noticed other partisans didn't finish the coffee. Overall a good experience and worth to join the tour.

Convenience of booking with Klook: Very convenient and eliminates the hassle of waiting in line to buy tickets. Especially since the ticket office is a bit far from the Tower of Belém, and since this is an extremely popular attraction, it is almost impossible to buy tickets on the same day. By booking here, you just need to show your ticket upon arrival to enter.

Tothom va ser molt amable, i el vi dolç i l'ambient acollidor van ser fantàstics. Dos homes tocaven instruments i una dona cantava, i el públic també va participar, així que l'hora va passar volant! També ens van animar a fer tantes fotos com volguéssim.

This was the first cathedral I saw in Portugal, and it was absolutely wonderful! It rained in the morning, so it was a bit cloudy initially, which made the view a little disappointing. However, after a while, the weather cleared up and it was cool, making the observatory tower view truly spectacular, haha. The bell sounds were also magnificent, and when I entered around 10:30 AM in late August, there was a moderate crowd, which was nice :) For reference, the cathedral is located uphill, so I recommend taking a tram or bus to São Bento Station and then walking up, haha.

Wonderful experience. This tour gives you the opportunity to see multiple places in a single day, with plenty of time for taking photos, walking, eating, and fully enjoying the day. Thanks to our guide Marci, who was fantastic. I truly recommend this tour!!
