It was a really interesting experience and was better than what I expected. We were first brought to a sauna room, then fetched by a staff, who will scrub (incl your face) and bubble foam you up before washing you off and sending you on your way. You get a room to yourself to change in and to keep your belongings. The staff expects to be tipped - so bring cash if you would like to.

Absolutely blown away. This was not my first hamam, but it was my first in Turkey, and the difference is real. Gedikpaşa Hamamı is centuries old and you can feel the history in the stone the moment you walk in.
I arrived early and the receptionists welcomed me warmly and accommodated me without hesitation. They served me Turkish tea while I waited, which set the tone for the whole visit. Friendly from start to finish.
Khalsa took care of me and did a wonderful job. She was thorough, attentive, and genuinely skilled. I walked out glowing, refreshed, and rejuvenated.
Afterward they brought me lemonade and Turkish delight, and both were delicious. A perfect finish.
I did this on a layover from the airport and it was the best possible use of those hours. If you have time in Istanbul, even a little, go. Authentic, historic, and worth every minute.

Vam visitar-lo un matí de dia feiner i no hi havia molta gent. És un lloc amb una llarga història (no es nota gaire i, sincerament, tampoc és tan important) i la parella gran que el gestionava va ser molt acollidora amb els turistes estrangers. El bany el va fer una senyora encantadora d'Indonèsia i va ser, com a mínim, relaxant. Finalment, aquesta activitat seria "més barata" si es comprés a través del Klook Pass.

El personal era molt amable i acollidor. Fins i tot ens van recollir de l'estació de metro si veníeu de la part europea, i el cost del transport anava a càrrec seu. El nostre instructor, Mehmet, ho va explicar tot molt clarament. Durant el taller, vam tenir aigua, te turc i galetes il·limitats.
Fins i tot després de tornar al meu país, vaig tenir un problema amb el meu llum i els vaig contactar per demanar consell. El personal va ser molt útil per solucionar-ho. Fins i tot em van proporcionar un vídeo per assegurar-me que ho arreglava correctament. Realment es pot veure l'esforç que hi posen. En general, vaig tenir una experiència molt agradable allà. Molt recomanable!

Iilham was a great guide. I booked a late coffee workshop so it was just me for that time. He was very friendly and informative. It was a fun experience. Would recommend for anyone's first time in Istanbul. Thanks Iilham for such a warm welcome. 🙏🏽

It is super interesting and well planned workshop. The instructor will share a lot of Turkish coffee history and you will make yr own coffee.

I highly recommend this experience! The communication was very good and the instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful when advising everyone on what scents go together and how to mix them. They have many scents you can choose from and mixing them is an interesting experience! We were very pleased with how our perfume turned out, it lasts for a pretty long time on the skin. The location where the workshop takes place is very nice and the tea and snacks provided were good!

it was soooo much fun! Ilham was such a fun and informative instructor. He was very interactive with us and engaged with us. i would recommend taking this class when you’re in istanbul. its in a very artsy and colorful area, so much inspiration around. and you get to take home something turkish that you made by hand 🫶🏻
