Day 1: Arrival at Hong Kong International Airport and Take a Trip to Victoria Peak and Madame Tussauds
Upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport, everything is a breeze with the simple and clean layout of the airport, a reflection of how easy it is to get around in Hong Kong. From here, you can take the train to where your hotel is located. We recommend getting express tickets beforehand so you can seamlessly use the train without any issues!
After settling into your hotel and getting a bit of rest, it’s time to explore Hong Kong!
A visit to Victoria Peak is a great activity for your first day as it’s relaxing, and provides great views of Hong Kong.
You take a ride on the Peak Tram which takes you high up to the Peak Tower. Here you can explore the various shops and entertainment facilities.
But probably the most important thing to see is the view. The Peak Tower essentially gives you a panoramic view of Hong Kong, seeing for miles and miles. It’s a great experience and perfect for family pictures!
While you’re here, you can also pay a visit to Madame Tussauds, which is a wax museum featuring some of the most famous names and figures in the world.

Day 2: Tons of Fun at the Theme Parks!
A Hong Kong itinerary wouldn't be complete without a visit to either Ocean Park Hong Kong or Hong Kong Disneyland (or both!).
At Ocean Park Hong Kong, you can enjoy the ultimate cross between a water park and zoo, with tons of rides and attractions, as well as see some spectacular sea life.
Try out rides like the Ocean Express, Arctic Blast, Cable Car, and more! You can also immerse yourself in the underwater world by visiting one of the largest aquariums in the world, Atoll Reef.

Hong Kong Disneyland has more than 100 amusement facilities, from Pixar to Star Wars, to Marvel and more! RIde rollercoasters, eat ice cream, and meet your favorite characters as they stroll down the streets of the kingdom.
Day 3: Ride on the Ngong Ping 360 and a Visit to Ngong Ping Village
Ngong Ping Village is a quaint and quiet village in Hong Kong that’s rich with history and culture everywhere you look.
The journey begins with the Ngong Ping 360, a cable car that starts from Tung Chung, and ends at Ngong Ping village, with some breathtaking views along the way.
The cable car allows you near unobstructed views all around, where you can see Tung Chung Bay, Lantau Island, Ngong Ping Village, and other attractions like the Tian Tan Buddha and Po Lin Monastery.
It’s a great thing to add to your Hong Kong itinerary, and provides a unique experience for travelers.
While you’re in Ngong Ping village, it’s also a good idea to pass by the Art of Chocolate.
The Art of Chocolate is a museum that’s essentially every chocolate lover's dream!
You can sightsee Hong Kong’s famous landmarks through the chocolate sculptures, or maybe you want to get tempted by the chocolate paintings on the walls.
You can get some free tastes of the chocolates available there, as well as attend a chocolate making workshop, and bring home some unique souvenirs. This is the perfect Hong Kong indoor activity for the family.
Day 4: Shop til you Drop!

Now that your trip’s coming to an end, there’s one last thing to check off your Hong Kong itinerary before heading to the airport: shopping!
Hong Kong is full of places to shop, and you’ll be able to buy to your heart’s content.
We recommend the famous Mongkok district, which is a popular shopping district in Hong Kong, with both stalls and buildings lining up the streets for your shopping needs.
