What to expect
Experience natural wonder at Chaing Mai's Sticky Waterfall is an incredibly cool place to check out when you’re in Chiang Mai. Tthe water here bubbles up from a natural spring, and it has such high levels of dissolved minerals that it coats the rocks and tree roots it flows over in high-traction limestone.

The guide came on time and pick us up at the hotel lobby, straight to the sticky waterfall. English speaking guide made it easy to communicate 👍🏻 We had our own time at the sticky waterfall, and its an amazing experience! There's 4 waterfalls in total, and you can hike all the way up with bare foot and its definitely one of a kind! A must do activity once you're in Chiang Mai ✨
The waterfalls was a very good experience with family. most of the areas are non slippery and we cab climb upright the hill without holding anything, however exercise caution as some locations are slippery. the main draw back was the vehicle used for transfer, had no air conditioning and during mid day the climate was hot and was getting unbearable.
The sticky waterfalls themselves are amazing, it wasn’t a guided tour however we had to find our own way to them he just dropped us off in the car park and we got out. The driver also did not allow us to sit together in the car despite there only being 4 passengers in total and he played annoying music the whole way. Seems slightly overpriced for what it is but the sticky waterfalls are super fun to climb and it cools you down. We had 2 hours there and managed to go up them 3 times.
This was just transport and entrance to the activity activity. No guide which was better once we worked out where to go lol. Had booked midday pick up but was changed to 7.30am. annoyed at first but worked out great as we were the only ones on the waterful. By 10 am it was much busier with tour group. Also, as it was early morning and in a songteuw, I was freezing on the journey. Bring a jacket !! lesson learnt. Loved the activity and wish we had done it several times. Given 2 hours at park which I thought was short at first but definately was enough time. Was good fun and quite easy. Water was not cold. would recommend.
Even though the driver providing the pick-up and drop-off speaks English, it's easy to communicate even if your English isn't great. There are only a few steps at this location, so it's relatively easy to walk. Plus, pulling yourself along the ropes to walk through the waterfall is completely safe and fun. We recommend wearing shorts, a swimsuit, and going barefoot. Scenery:
It is not a tour. The driver will just only drive you from Ching Mai town district to the waterfall. You can have a walk there for around 1. 1/2 hour.
Very cool experience and beautiful place! I highly recommend to visit it with friends or family. not so far from the city
The experience of holding a rope and climbing up the valley was special. It was convenient to use an air-conditioned van as a solo tour, and it was fun thanks to the English-speaking guide. However, because there is no other means of transportation, it is not cost-effective, but the tour itself was an enjoyable experience.
It was amazing!!! A beautiful place with a truly rich nature✨Climbing the waterfall was fun😆I recommend going early in the morning when there are fewer people!
Took a while to get there but it was worth it. Really enjoyed the waterfall and the sufficient time given to explore. About 2-3 hours is good. Not much of a tour but more of a transfer.
