Reviews summaryTour guide was friendly. Itinerary was OK. The funicular tram ride was exhilarating for my 2 kids. Blue mountains were breathtaking. The inclusive Sydney Zoo Koala digital phototaking was cool too. Just that we didnt get to spend longer time visiting it as our Itinerary was packed full. Leura Village was okay, nothing much to do there except to shop.
This Blue Mountains, Leura, and Sydney Zoo day tour was absolutely amazing! The itinerary was well-organized and allowed us to experience so much within a short time. Our guide, Alfie, spoke beautiful British English and fluent Mandarin. His bilingual commentary was fun and engaging throughout the trip. He also helped everyone take great photos — truly excellent service! Each guest received a bottle of water and a pack of snacks, which was a thoughtful touch. The Blue Mountains cableway ticket included all three lines, making it a great value. For lunch in Leura, I highly recommend planning ahead which restaurant to go to before dining, so you can save time and explore the town within the one-hour lunch break.
Simon is a very helpful and friendly coach, he is always on time and drive safely. This tour probably suitable for family and people without driving. Besides, Simon has sense of humour. Under his introduction, we understand the history of different spots like Sydney Zoo, Leura village, Blue Mountain, story about Three Sisters etc. All of us had a great one day tour! Thankyou Simon!
Allen from Brighton has been a good guide and driver for this tour. Manage to to see three sisters in blue mountain and visit sydney zoo. The trip is not packed and is pretty chill. You would have plenty of time to visit the attractions.
We had an incredible experience with Tom as our tour guide for our trip to Sydney Zoo and the Blue Mountains. Not only was he an excellent driver, but his knowledge and passion truly made the tour unforgettable. Tom shared fascinating insights about the destinations, making every stop both educational and engaging. His funny sense of humor kept us all laughing and created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. What stood out the most was how he went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. If you’re looking for a guide who is professional, informative, and absolutely entertaining, Tom is the one! This tour was a highlight of our trip – thank you, Tom, for an amazing day!
If you don’t have any itinerary, you can schedule this tour. At least the tour guide is easy to get along with (the journey is not particularly surprising) ■ 8:00 Assemble and board the tour bus ■ 9:00 Sydney zoo: - Feed the kangaroos first, and then take photos with the koalas. 40 minutes of free time later - Australia Zoo is very comfortable, not crowded, very quiet, we all like it ■ 12:00 Arrival at Leura: - 1 hour to eat, it is recommended to choose the restaurant you want to eat in advance, otherwise the meal will be very slow - Basically I don’t have time to visit the town, which is a pity (next time I will want to drive there by myself) ■ 13:10 Echo Point Observation Deck - Mainly see the Three Sisters Rock - take photos, the mountain is quite boring ■ 14: 00 Scenic World - only take the red line Railway: two round trips. Highly recommend the first row, not scary - blue line maintenance - someone fell into the valley near the yellow line, the tour guide is Alfee, an Australian, who has studied and worked in China for ten years, so he can speak English and Chinese. The people are very friendly and willing to answer questions. Since there is only one type of cable car available, they specially took us to see "Pig's Head Rock" as compensation.
These combo activities are a blast and totally worth trying out, especially if you get to hang with our tour guide, Alfie. This guy knows so much about the local culture and has a ton of fun facts to share! He’s fluent in Mandarin and English, so he’ll fill you in on all the cool spots and share some awesome stories about their history. If you want a cool way to get to know the area better, I definitely recommend him! This tour is perfect for solo travelers or families looking to explore together.
I am very happy with the tour. it was worth it and I really enjoyed it. My guide was Simon and he is a very nice guy. the tour was in mandarin, but he specially spoke Cantonese as well so that I can also understand. For the tour, you will get the opportunity to ride all three types of cable car! The view was amazing!
This time we were traveling with a driver and a local Australian tour guide, Alfie, who spoke fluent Chinese and had no barriers to communication, and his introduction was very humorous. You will receive an email notification the day before the trip, and mineral water will be distributed as soon as you get on the bus. The entire group of 50 people is fully booked. Rich content and experience, and plenty of free time! Compared with other Australian zoos, Sydney Zoo is quite complete in terms of landscaping, flow and animal species. In addition to feeding the kangaroos, taking photos with the koalas is also very interesting! You are not allowed to touch/hug koalas in New South Wales. Just taking a photo in the tree is very therapeutic~~ There were koalas that woke up in the next few groups among us! A group of staff will take about 6 photos, and then give a QR code, and after scanning, you can get the electronic file! Super cute! Additional photos can be purchased and developed on-site. It takes about 1.5 hours to visit the zoo. There are three major areas, mainly visiting the Australian Special Animal Area. In the front, the tour guide will introduce and lead the feeding of kangaroos and koalas to take photos, and then there will be free activities for about 40 minutes, which is plenty of time. It takes about 1 hour to eat in Leura town. The tour guide will carefully introduce the restaurants and specialty shops you can visit. I chose a pizza restaurant, Pizza Sublime, which I think is convenient and delicious! The price was also reasonable and I ordered an iced latte at the coffee shop Sparrows Leura. Highly recommended! ! Then we went to the Blue Mountains in the afternoon, which was really a weather-resistant trip! It happened to be sunny when we arrived (it was cloudy in the morning), and the weather is good so we can feel blue ~~ Taking the three cable cars in Blue Mountain Park is also super fun and interesting. The tour guide will take the whole group to walk and have fun, so don’t worry Don't know how to get there! His introduction to the landscape and temperate rainforest was also very detailed. Although there was less free travel around, relatively speaking, he enjoyed the most essential itinerary. On the way back, we were given a pack of biscuits per person. The tour guide Alfie did not charge everyone for the tip. We felt that the day's itinerary and the tour guide's introduction were very attentive. I think overall it was great! The group time is not boring, there is plenty of free time, and you can experience every detail! This day trip is perfect for travelers without a car or local guide! Highly recommend everyone to participate in this trip! 👍👍👍
The tour guide is Yafei, a white man who can speak Chinese. The travel agency sends an email to your mailbox one day in advance. The process of getting on the car was silky smooth. Because it is Chinese New Year, there will be many people in a group. But the process went very smoothly. First go to the zoo to feed the kangaroos and take photos with the koalas. Kangaroos are docile and can be touched. Then go to Lula town for lunch. Recommend cafeleura’s k-burger kangaroo burger. Go to Blue Mountains in the afternoon. See the Three Sisters and take the cable car. The queues were long and the train was the most interesting. Return to Sydney around 4 o'clock and get off at 6 o'clock. The one-day tour at this price, which includes tickets, a tour guide and a round-trip bus, is really great value for money.
