Reviews
Even though it was advertised as a Korean speaking tour, Kevin was very attentive and caring towards non-korean speaking tourists like us. While it won't be 100%, he tries his best to make sure we get proper instructions and also provides sufficient context for us to appreciate the tour he is leading. Departure timing was good. We reached Featherdale slightly after 8am and we almost had the whole place to ourselves. The setting was intimate and you could choose between free feeding cups or AUD 26 off up close with Koala photoshoot. The feeding was an awesome experience for both kids and adults. We all loved it. Time allocated for all the scenic sights were just nice. We did not feel rushed during this tour. Do take the Scenic Tour option. It is really a fantastic experience. We took all 3 variants including a short trail through the rainforest.
The guide is suuuper helpful & friendly. I am not a Korean speaker but he made sure I understood the important details & felt included. He is also a great photographer! Our bus was also comfortable & I had a great time overall :D
i booked it not knowing its a korean speaker guide, but jimmy made sure to still speak in English sometimes so i can understand. he is very kind and accommodating! the trip was fun. thankyou so much jimmy!
It was nice that it started about an hour earlier compared to other tours. I was worried that it would be difficult because I was going with my parents, but it wasn't difficult at all, and it was nice that we went to each point by car. As we woke up early in the morning, we could see kangaroos and quokkas eating and running around more vigorously in the zoo. They keep chasing after us for food. And be sure to include Scenic World in your tour. When you get off and walk around, the air is so good. It feels like riding a ride. Jimmy, the guide, arranged the schedule with a sense of humor, so we could go quickly without wasting time and take a lot of pictures. He even gave us souvenirs, and it's a really cost-effective tour. I want to come again. Highly recommend it-!!
Great tour experience even though we were unable to speak Korean, the guide was patient and friendly with us throughout the tour. Blue mountain was a fantastic experiences with us trying out all three scenic rides. Lincoln rock was also very impressive with the guide helping everyone to take photo at the edge of the rock with the best view.
We enjoyed our tour even it is in Korean. Our tour guide, Alex is good and he also translate the details in English. We had fun. The itinerary time-line is just right to see everything. We also gain korean friend. This is a memorable trip.
I recently joined a tour with my husband and my best friend that took us through the Blue Mountains and Featherdale Zoo, and it was an incredible day from start to finish. The tour was led by a Korean guide named Alex. Even though we don’t speak Korean, Alex’s approach made everything so easy and enjoyable, and I truly appreciated how accommodating he was during the entire tour. Alex gave us a mini bottled water as refreshment after visiting Lincoln’s rock and a cute book mark. Overall, I’d recommend this package to anyone who wants to enjoy some close encounter with cute animals and enjoy thrilling rides through Blue Mountains. Thank you, Alex!
Thanks to Director Gu Jeong-yeol, I had a great tour. I was grateful for the wonderful photos he took at Lincoln's Rock, the witty explanations, and even the small gifts. Featherrail Zoo is a great place to meet nature and animals up close in the Blue Mountains region, and it seems like a great place for families to visit as you can see and experience various native Australian animals. I recommend it!!. I was particularly impressed by the interaction with kangaroos and koalas, and it was also beautiful to see the animals living freely in nature.
After retirement in December 2024, I went on the Milford Track in New Zealand from February 2nd with my wife who worked hard for me. Two days ago, I entered Sydney and had a great time at the Iceberg Pool at Bondi Beach while it was raining and enjoying the waves. I was worried that it might rain on the Blue Mountains day tour schedule tomorrow. I was writing a draft of a review in a hurry on the bus after lunch at Laura and going to the zoo. I strongly felt that this day tour was the most customized program for my wife and I. Mr. Gu Jeong-ryeol, a driver from Daehan Tour, understood the time difference travel course by course and proceeded with the tour program without overlapping with other travelers and without waiting. He also predicted the weather on the day and efficiently adjusted the order of the morning and afternoon to meet the expectations of the tour customers and was very considerate. He honestly and frankly compared Korea and Australia and explained many cultural differences, saying that there are many things to learn in terms of Australian people, nature, and history. In my opinion, if there is anyone visiting Sydney, Australia, I strongly recommend the Blue Mountains One-Day Tour with reporter Gu Jeong-ryeol.
I recommend the Blue Mountains tour. They are flexible and guide you while avoiding crowded times. Featherdale Wildlife Park is better than Taronga Zoo for seeing koalas and kangaroos up close. The kids will love it. Be sure to ride the Skyway/Cableway/Scenic Railway train. You will experience a magnificent sight. And thank you to Alex for guiding us.
