First-timer Friendly 1-Day Snow Lesson in Mt Buller

Had a great experience on this 1-day Mt Buller snow tour as a first-timer! The bus was punctual, clean, and comfortable, with sufficient toilet breaks along the way. Our driver, Steven, was very friendly and accommodating—though he spoke mostly Mandarin and limited English, he still gave clear instructions and made sure everyone was well taken care of. The gear collection process was smooth and hassle-free. The 2-hour beginner lesson was definitely worth it, especially for those new to skiing or snowboarding—though the experience can vary depending on which instructor you get. The only downside was visiting during peak season. The place was packed with kids, and we spent a lot of time queuing for the lifts rather than actually skiing. If possible, I’d recommend going on a weekday or outside school holidays. Despite the crowds, the day went according to schedule and we returned to the city safely and on time. Overall, a fun and worthwhile trip for beginners!

My husband and i really had great time at Mt Buller. Since it was our first time skiing, we learned a lot from our instructor. They were all friendly. Our driver and guide was also very informative, even though there was random bus checking from the police that delayed our journey more than 30 minutes, but our driver was very calm and everyone was not panic. This activity package didn’t include goggles, so make sure to bring your own or rent at there for $15. We also rented a locker to put our bags, the small one $22 (card only, no cash) can fit for 2-3 people bags & shoes. We had fish & chips after ski, nice taste but quite pricey. Overall i really recommend this day tour especially for first timer who never ski before.

Tony was our drive. He is very helpful and considerate. It is such a good deal and convenient to pop up the car without worrying all your gears and time managing. We joined the first timer lesson and had real fun in the snow. Highly recommend.

If you are going to the snow for the first time or wanting a hassle free package, this is the one!! Our driver Tony was an excellent driver, very helpful and stayed with us to ensure we were okay whilst we geared up to swap over to the ski school. We had Bruce as our ski instructor and he was fantastic! Aside from his dad jokes, he made us feel safe and comfortable with our skis. The class included a warm up, small activities and going up the magic carpet ride to practice on the small slope. Class was roughly 1.5 - 2 hrs which still gave us plenty of free time. Additional costs was hiring gloves/goggles $30 for both, a locker for $22 for the day and food/drinks. Handy tip, get geared up asap so you can get an early class and have more free time after. 5 hours is plenty of time to ski, get photos and feed. The weather was rainy and foggy most times with snowfall. Highly recommend!

Super super fun and worth experience! All inclusive and easy to claim! The lessons were super worth it! Strongly recommended if you have never done before! The whole place felt like it came out from a fairytale

Tour manager, Eva is amazing! She replied to queries promptly and assured us of refunds. She is reliable when it comes to activities recommendations. She helps us make amendments to our activity as there are no more morning lessons to attend due to late booking. So remember to book the lessons early, if you are planning to. Tour guide, Johnny is very friendly as well! He drove us there on time, and he was helpful in explaining to ur queries. Highly recommended. Impressive service. Great experience for a first time experience of ski . Angel was our guide and she was very patient , she waited for all to be on board and ensured our safety. She was the only person guiding and driving the bus, it was not easy for her but she did a great job 👍👍👍The ski instructors was also very patient and bubbly the scenery was amazing. If you don’t want to go for the class you can just alight at entrance at Mount bullet and go your own way. The ride there was around 4 hours with a 15 min stop in the middle. They will send you where to meet the night before . Mount Buller and angel was amazing !!!!

This is the second time I went skiing through klook apps, had a very great fun. The coach was also very good and everything was well arranged.

Everything was great, including driver and instructor, pick up and well timed arrangements. It was just bad weather, too much fog, and not much snow, a patch of dry grass

Our driver (Angela) is a very young & professional lady. We arrived at Mount Buller punctually and we have around 6 hours for self exploration. We bought 2 hours ski lessons for beginner, recommended to buy together with cloth rental as you might get wet. Buy online will be cheaper compared to walk in price. If you’re coming for ski, you must wear long socks, else you have to purchase it at Mount Buller at $25.
