We were 30mins late for our bookings but there were no questions asked. They just seat us upon seeing our booking. The table was ready for us and we were served almost immediately. View from Skyline teahouse was superb, we got front row view of both A-Mei and the mountain and sea. We were taught how to drink our tea and was also served snacks. The only gripe was that the peanuts too little
I made a reservation at 17:00 and used it with my family of three. At the terrace seat next to the entrance, the temperature was 30 degrees that day, but the breeze was pleasant and the view was great. After about an hour, I ordered a separate meal and was able to enjoy the evening and the night view. I'm really grateful that you asked me to take a picture with you on your way home, and that you forgot your parasol, so you ran around looking for us. My best memories of Taiwan are Jiufen and the kindness of the owner. When you visit again, you must make a reservation here! ! !
This teahouse is located across from Ame Chashukan. I was able to get a good seat on the balcony. I was able to rest my tired body from walking until the pick-up time while looking at the lit-up Ame Chashukan. Reservations are recommended before sunset.
We were given a terrace seat right at the entrance of the Haiyue Lou Tea House. We enjoyed some authentic tea and snacks. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day, but we were able to relax for a while while looking at the magnificent view of Jiufen and the neighboring Amei Tea House (A Mei Tea House). It seems like it's hard to get a reservation, so I'm glad I made a reservation in advance. I'd like to go back again.
nice scenery experience … worth visiting the Teahouse to get a great spot for photo taking view
We made a reservation on the 26th, but the reservation was suddenly canceled in the early morning of the 23rd due to overcrowding. I was really surprised because I was leaving on the 25th and it was a weekend, but the agent responded right away and I was able to change my reservation without incident. Klook is awesome!! When I arrived, Jiufen was truly hell.. There were a lot of people, but the inside of the teahouse was quiet, which was nice. The tea shop was run by seniors, and I arrived an hour earlier than my reservation time, but they let me in after I showed them my voucher! The other people next to me came later than the reservation time, but they still let me in, so it seemed like I could get in as long as I made a reservation! The staff were friendly, and the interior of the teahouse was very comfortable and the view was really pretty. I thought it was a bit expensive (the tea and refreshments were just... don't expect much), but I highly recommend it because you were able to comfortably enjoy the scenery of Jiufen. I went with my parents, and even my parents, who had a hard time because there were so many people in Jiufen, were completely satisfied with the tea shop! I definitely recommend it :D
10/10 would recommend this tea experience! My partner and I were lucky enough to be seated at the patio area right beside the entrance of the teahouse, and we had a nice unblocked view of A-Mei Teahouse. We had a great time relaxing while sipping tea, and admiring the view as we watched it turn from day till night. The teahouse staff gave us an initial demonstration on how to prepare the tea and an informative guide in several translated languages were also provided for non-locals. You are welcome to stay as long as you like (we stayed for almost 4h!) and you can request for the leftover tea leaves + tea snacks to be vacuum sealed to take away if you cannot finish them. The teahouse staff also gave us a complimentary postcard of Skyline Teahouse. We ordered some light bites and they were pretty tasty as well 😊 By the way the place is not hard to find, but it may be a little hard to identify as their signage is in Chinese. Just take note that it is right opposite the entrance to A-Mei Teahouse!
View would've been beautiful but sadly it was a really rainy and windy night. On the stairs down, with A-Mei tea house on your right, the building will be on your left side (circled in the photo attached). Service was good, they explained and demonstrated the steps for pouring your own tea. Unfinished tea leaves can be sealed again for take away. Really good experience.
It was a good memory for a long time. The tea was good and the scenery was so good. I enjoyed the luxury of drinking tea while looking down on the old streets of Jiufen with red light. Like drinking coffee while looking at the illuminated Eiffel Tower. It's opposite to the Amei Tea House. I'm facing the stairs across the street and there's no English sign, so it's easy to pass. When you come to the shopping street, you're on the left. If you enter the residential area, you're on the right. It's amazing. When you go through it, you can confirm the reservation at the entrance and send it in. I saved the voucher in the Apple Wallet and showed it to me. I ran the Klook app and showed it to me. The photo was uploaded for 4 people. When you sit down, we'll explain how to drink tea. You can do as it is. Oolong tea and three side snacks. Pickled plums and dried fruits (I'm not sure, they sold those fruits at the market) came out through the noisy roads and sat in a teahouse. I felt so happy and happy with a cup of warm tea. I wanted to travel with this taste.
I made a reservation from 5:00 pm to see the magic hour from a high place. When I told them I had a reservation, they showed me to the terrace. It was raining, but the rain was also magical. I liked the dried guava and tea plum, and my husband liked the peanut. We communicated through gestures and learned how to brew oolong tea. The location was great and it was a great experience.
