Kaohsiung City Full-Day Private Tour

The Tour was very informative and saw some beautiful scenery in and around Kaohsiung. My tour guide Aaron was very friendly, spoke excellent English and a very pleasant way of communicating before the tour began.

This extraordinary tour with Charlie was a highlight of my journey. From the moment he picked me up at the train station until he graciously dropped me off at the airport, every detail was meticulously taken care of. The personal attention I received was unparalleled. Throughout the day, we explored numerous remarkable sites, and Charlie expertly customized the itinerary to align perfectly with my interests. He also captured wonderful photos of me, adding a special touch to an already memorable experience.

Mr. Wu arrived and waited for us before our scheduled reservation time. He was very kind and provided detailed explanations, guiding us through the tour with an optimized itinerary. As a native of Kaohsiung, he showed us hidden charms in every corner and even introduced us to unexpected, hidden gems, making the experience even more memorable. We hadn't even mentioned a lunch spot, but he took us to a beef noodle restaurant we really wanted to try, which was incredibly thoughtful. The weather was also very clear and sunny, making it pleasant to get around. He dropped us off at locations we requested on short notice both during and at the end of the tour, allowing us to conclude our itinerary richly. I feel like I made an excellent decision booking this tour, as I got to know Kaohsiung thoroughly.

My guide Charlie gave very clear explanation and background at each point. He also drove safely and professional from point to point. Highly recommended if you want to understand more about Kaohsiung and Taiwan. Side note: The dragon and tiger pagoda was not open for access due to renovation. The other areas are still open.

Trip started a bit late, at 11am. Klook didn't give me an option to choose an earlier appointment. No matter, Aaron still arrived half an hour earlier ahead of the scheduled time. Clearly briefed me about the places we headed to.The views were stunning. Loved the views at Fo Guang Shan and the educational/cultural immersion that came with it, that I never would've gotten if I had DIY-ed it, as I knew it would've been plainly for sightseeing if I did. Glad I didn't.

Aaron was my driver guide and he is absolutely amazing. Everything from the picking up to finishing was great. I love how he is so knowledgeable about everything and we had nice chats. As I love taking photographs, he brought me to a lot of different spots for good photos

We greatly enjoyed the private city tour by our guide Charlie and we learned many interesting facts about his lovely city's culture, religion and history. Charlie is very friendly, knowledgeable and well read. He speaks English well and we enjoyed every moment with him. He was punctual and drove us around safely in his very comfortable and spacious car. I highly recommend Charlie.
