Kew Gardens is an absolute gem for nature lovers and anyone seeking a peaceful yet inspiring escape from the city. The grounds are beautifully curated, but two features stand out: the Conservatory and the Hive. These attractions showcase the best of Kew. Whether you are into plants, architecture, or simply want a beautiful walk surrounded by history and greenery, Kew Gardens is a must-visit.
There are many kinds of plants in the garden.I saw my favorite Chinese orchid. But sadly,I also saw two stone lions snatched from China,1845.It makes me understand why our country needs to build more aircraft carriers.
Kew garden is very special And it is a must to visit when you visit london. There havbe some indoor warm house that present variety of flower and plant from all over the world. It also have a tree walk. Japansese garden and pools.
It is worth spending half a day in the park. I arranged for 12 o'clock to 4 o'clock. There are not many people queuing up to enter the park, but the e-ticket cannot scan the QR code to enter the park. The staff will arrange it to another team to confirm the reservation. Take a map at the entrance, and then start to walk from the attractions on the left to the right, and you will feel the palace garden from primitive to modern, from ordinary to luxurious. It seems that other platforms have this problem. There are different permanent exhibitions, greenhouses and art installations in the park, and there are many places to check in! You can also see a lot of animals and birds during the visit. You can rest and have a picnic in the grass, or you can take a walk on the top of the high-altitude trees. On the whole, you can't finish shopping in one visit, and you can go again next time you visit London.
Wonderful day out. Easy to get to by train or you can take a boat from Westminster when available. The journey is quicker by train. The gardens offer various displays, beautiful places to have a picnic or there are several cafe's and restaurants you can choose from for eating. Kew Palace - if open - is very interesting as well.
Beautiful gardens with various themed green houses and conservatories. The outdoor sculptures were lovely too. Queen Charlotte/Bridgerton fans will recognise the Kew Palace featured in the series. For those hunting for gifts and souvenirs, the gift shops offer an extensive collection of gifts including live plants, skin care, plushies etc.
As mentioned in other reviews, you will have to redeem the actual ticket at the kiosks. Beautiful botanical gardens and glasshouses. You can spend a whole day here. Do check the closing timings of the glasshouses to avoid disappointment.
Great place to visit, the houses containing the ferns ,orchids and cacti were particularly lovely as was the treetop walk.
