Sumo Experience & Chanko Hot Pot Lunch in Tokyo

My partner and I absolutely loved this experience!!! The sumos were very impressive and added humour to the experience. I personally loved the history provided of sumos and how they spend their day practicing and eating. I will do this again when I return.

My son & I had a great time with this experience. He had the chance to challenge one of the Sumo wrestlers and he liked it so much. The food was also top notch. We were served tonkatsu and the flavour was to our liking having Asian palates living in the west. Highly recommended activity when you are in Tokyo.

The show was really nice, and the place was easy to locate. I had opted way earlier for vegan lunch for our family, wish it could’ve been better.

A must do activity. The best part of course the sumo wrestlers but the guide was speaking good English, enough time to take photos, try wrestling and the cherry on the top was, they served me amazing vegan food on request.

Good event, good experience. A chance to have a close look at this unique Japanese sport. They served you the meal first, followed by the Sumo introductions and demonstrations. Audiences can step up to try their muscles with the Sumo guys if they wish. In the end, they let everyone take turns to take pictures with the Sumo guys.

Everyone working here was so polite and friendly. Host was funny and our sumo wrestlers that were there that day were funny characters too. We really enjoyed meeting them. Luckily I did not have to participate at all (it’s ok if you’re shy), but the other guests who decided to try going against them were too entertaining. The host also explained the rules and other aspects of the matches which was very informative. Thank you!

The Sumo experience was fascinating, explaining a little about the sport, the athletes, and the structure of the training. The food was good and the interaction with the guests and the wrestlers was phenomenal!.. This is a fun experience to take for a small glimpse into the world of Sumo.

I am so glad we booked this experience! very well run, highly organised, amazing food, got to mix with other travellers from all over the world, the sumo wrestlers and the presenter made it a fun and memorable experience. I couldn't recommend this highly enough
