Reviews
The guide Peter is so lovely. Just going inside is already amazing. Take the QR Code you got to the Welcome Center counter on the ground floor and you will be given a ticket. Wait as the staff tells you at 9:50 a.m. The guide will come with the headphones. Everything is smooth and beautiful.
The tour, led by Peter, was professionally conducted and highly informative. He shared key insights into the history of the Sydney Opera House, including the commissioning process, the architectural design competition, and the immense challenges faced during construction, material selection, and maintenance. We also had the incredible opportunity to step inside the concert hall and experience its grandeur, even in its emptiness. While the tour was engaging and well-structured, a bit more time to explore certain areas would have made it even better. Overall, a worthwhile experience for anyone interested in architecture and history!
Fresh, great, ingenious, professional, the project has gone through countless hardships and finally sailed to the world, which is amazing.
hassle free booking worth the amount paid very informational will definitely recommend to family and friends
It was difficult to find the entrance, but the staff were very kind and helpful with luggage storage and ticket exchange. Also, our guide Peter gave a really entertaining explanation.
An amazing experience that allows you to see the details of the architecture up close. Time flies by, and the tour guide explains everything in great detail. Before you know it, it's over!
It was very informative and was a good experience
As an architect, I'm interested in famous buildings that I've only seen in books, especially since I want my high school daughter to develop an interest in architecture too! The architectural tour is officially organized by the Sydney Opera House, with only two tours every Saturday morning. The tour guide/lecturer is a local professor and expert who explains everything in detail in English, from the history to the layout and the use of building materials. This kind of in-depth tour is very worthwhile, and you get to see places that regular tourists rarely visit.
The tour guide’s explanations are detailed and engaging. It’s really eye-opening to have an in-depth visit. If you like to understand the historical background, don’t miss it!
Excellent tour of the architectural & cultural wonder that has survived many government administration changes
