Please check the official website to qualify for free tickets. General admission is $80. Ticket prices are the same as on-site. Use the QR code to go to the counter to verify and then stamp for admission. The venue is not big, but there are many interactive settings for children. So I spent a lot of time, it is a good place to escape the summer heat indoors and provide education and entertainment! There are restrooms and water dispensers on each floor. There is no dining in the exhibition hall. There is a rest area on the first floor, which sells drinks and simple bread and can be eaten inside. Parking is in outdoor areas
The Shisanhang Museum's permanent exhibition and limited-time textile exhibition offer some hands-on activities (reconstructing pottery, archaeological heritage knowledge challenge hall of fame). The time-lapse photography showcasing the iron casting process is also well done. It also touches upon the Dapenkeng site (though only a few display boards are provided?). Back then, to build a sewage treatment plant, only a small portion of the site was allocated for the museum. As for cultural merchandise and interior displays, well, there's almost no merchandise related to Japanese special exhibitions (there's a Japanese book about the Kofun period). The outdoor game challenges also seem to attract little interest, which is a bit of a shame. At least the National Museum of Prehistory in Taitung has actual archaeological shelters... There's also an underwater archaeology exhibition showcasing the process and related materials of underwater archaeological operations. Educational and Entertaining Experience: Through immersive theaters and VR interactive devices, the museum vividly demonstrates the iron smelting technology and prehistoric life of the Shisanhang people. The second floor features a "Children's Archaeology Experience Room," allowing children to enjoy the fun of excavating pottery shards and stone tools in a sandpit, which is highly educational. Architectural Artistic Beauty: The entire building is exceptionally well-designed and has received the Taiwan Architecture Award. The most distinctive features are the "Dune Observation Deck," symbolizing a whale's back, and the inclined "Archaeological Octagonal Tower." Their fair-faced concrete texture and unique interplay of light and shadow make them popular spots for photos.
An introduction to Taiwan’s prehistory. I caught up with the last few days of the special exhibition. I gained more knowledge and got to know this land better. There are many educational and entertaining teaching aids, which is great! Will visit again~~
It is a very suitable place to take children to play and experience. Although the museum is not big, you can experience it leisurely. The best thing is that the nursing room is super friendly and provides spare quilts, which is really great!
A great place to escape the heat during summer travel ~ It’s free for New Taipei residents! Buying tickets at klook is also very environmentally friendly and convenient. Although the exhibition hall is not large, there are many interactive experience facilities to play ~
It’s been a long time since I visited, and I feel like I miss it more than I miss it. However, the electronic ticket is very fast, and you can get the QR CODE immediately after payment. There are also discounts. I will use it more in the future.
You can do it completely, especially if you urge me, you can do it in full and politely. Secondly, tens of millions are involved. Last time, I went to organize and implement it, especially the weapons. It can be fifty. The above-mentioned involvement of GIGI Vivi is indeed true. In fact,
It’s very convenient to buy now and use it immediately. The price is the same as on-site, but you can buy with a credit card. Admission is free for New Taipei residents. It’s suitable for children to play. The archaeological sand pit is great and it’s worth taking children for a walk.
