Nice autumn weather today in October 2023 which made this walking tour very enjoyable. My guide is Akihiro. Akihiro was able to share some interesting places to eat and drink - hidden corner places that we would not have found on our own. The food and drinks are included in the tour. The sake museum is small but has some good historical items. Do try the sake ice cream. As a local, he was able to share some interesting information about Sapporo to me. Good choice of Izakaya places that we visited Excellent tour.
This experience was well worth the investment. We tried several different sakes and had meaningful conversations as well.
There will be a Japanese tour guide who will take you to a local shop for wine tasting, but it’s just about drinking, and there isn’t much introduction.
The tour guide Emi is very attentive and kind, and the local wine she introduces is also very good. Rice wine knowledge is also interesting. The recommended authentic oyster bar is also delicious.
We did not visit a sake brewery on this tour, however this is mentioned in the title and itinerary of this tour. The guide (Akihiro) was excellent though!
