Reviews
Very good experience, the Segway was easy to learn and control, all staffs there were super friendly, the guy who taught us the Segway was very patient. Our tour guide Ayla (hope I spell her name right) was full of passion in hers work, and always caring because my friends and I are non-native English speakers. Also, having a glass of champagne and some snacks while watching sunset at Uluru was an unforgettable experience. I’d love to recommend this!
We took the sunrise tour, and even though the guide spoke English and I couldn't understand everything, it was still very interesting! I was expecting a full loop, but it seems that due to heavy rain a few days prior, the road conditions weren't good, so we only walked a portion of the path. Although a small refund was issued, it still felt a bit disappointing. It also seemed like the original loop itinerary was changed to be similar to the afternoon sunset tour. Overall, I would still highly recommend it.
I find this activity quite enjoyable and something new. The tour guide was great, we were able to stop for photos (non sensitive areas) as we ride along the Uluru. Interesting stories/history. Totally recommend this activity for those that don't want to walk all day long around the rock 😆 We heard kids and other people walking and saw us on the segways that they should have booked it. Tip: wear sunglasses or protective goggles because it could be windy and not comfortable having sand in your face/eyes.
The tour was very fun and interesting. Our tour guide, Lisa, was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. The sunset location was beautiful, and the experience was great value for money.
had a fantastic experience in riding Segway! it’s my first time riding it and it was fun! and our tour guide was so knowledgable that had shared lots of info with us!
Coach: Friendly, kind, and patient in teaching. Experience: Overall very pleasant. Location: It was wonderful to experience Uluru in this way. Equipment: Helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads were provided. Safety: Excellent and reassuring.
Riding a Segway around Uluru allowed me to save energy for hiking King's Canyon and Valley of the Winds, which was a good choice. However, everyone had to start and stop together, so we couldn't stop whenever we wanted to admire the scenery, making it feel a bit rushed. Also, for safety reasons, we couldn't use phones to take photos or videos while riding, though there were designated spots to stop and take pictures along the way. I participated in the sunset tour, and the spot where we watched the sunset and took a break was right next to Uluru, so we couldn't see the entire Uluru from there.
This is a highly recommended tour, even if you have no prior Segway experience, it's absolutely no problem. Before starting, the instructor will provide training, so there's no need to worry about safety.
The team was well-organized and shared a lot of knowledge and stories. The Segway tour was fun, offering a different perspective of Uluru.
This was my first time riding a Segway, and it was so much fun! It's a shame one of the ladies in our group was walking too slowly; it would have been even more exciting if we could have gone faster. Getting up close to the Big Red Rock was absolutely beautiful.
