Glenorchy & Paradise Half Day Tour

Our guide Allegra from Altitude Tours is very nice with professional knowledge about the places we visited. The half-day tour was very relaxing with stunning scenery. We also enjoyed very much the light breakfast provided at the beautiful place. The whole trip was really enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide Kevin from Altitude Tours Queenstown was engaging, informative and entertaining. We were comfortably taken to Glenorchy & Paradise and enjoyed a little picnic with some delicious south land food and hot drinks. We were able to take some beautiful photos. It was truly an amazing trip! As a huge LOTR fan, this felt like a dream come true. ✨ Organized by Altitude Tours, hands down one of the best tour companies in Queenstown—everything was seamless, well-organized, and our guide, Do, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Do (who was also our driver!) was a hardcore LOTR fan, which made the whole experience even better. It honestly felt like a trip down memory lane, visiting the actual filming locations and hearing all the stories behind them. I would highly recommend this tour to fellow LOTR fans or anyone curious about the films—but even if you’re not, the scenery alone is absolutely breathtaking. 💛

I had a great experience going on an altitude tour. Our guide, Kevin was really informative and well prepared. He got us treats for the trip and it was tasty! Also, he gave us the jade stone too. Thank you him for such a memorable tour!

The itinerary is to Glenorchy and Paradise (Paradise Highway), starting in a small group. The tour guide is Miss Do. She is familiar with the itinerary and introduces the beautiful scenery along the way, as well as the filming locations of the Demon Trilogy (and many other movies). Lord of the Rings props were also provided for group members to take photos. Everyone had a great time and plenty of time was given for taking photos. In addition, the morning tea she arranged was also very delicious. On the way back, she asked everyone to stop at the filming location of the Lord of the Rings Forest to experience the environment and take photos. The entire itinerary is rich, entertaining and worth recommending.

A half-day trip to Glenorchy and Paradise was perfect for me. Although the bad weather obscured the mountains, it added a mystical touch to the scenery. Our guide, Mary, was exceptional - attentive and a very cautious driver. The breakfast spread was delicious and filling.

Travel with a friendly guide in a comfortable car! Our friendly guide Adam accompanies us to many great view points. It was so nice to see the beautiful nature and have a tea time with a small group! It was a really happy Glenorchy tour. The guide played the Lord of the Rings bgm and explained the shooting. A choice with no regrets!! ❤️❤️❤️
