Snorkeling, Diving, & Fun Diving Experience in Kerama Islands

The diving experience, led by our kind instructor, was incredibly enjoyable. I especially appreciated how safely the master led us from point to point and assisted us, which made for a delightful dive. Every place we visited was magnificent. My only minor regret is that I only exchanged glances with the other people on the trip. Since we spent the entire day together on the boat, I wish we had introduced ourselves briefly to make the day a bit more comfortable.

I recently went to the Kerama Islands to participate in snorkeling and diving experiences, and the overall feeling was very pleasant! First of all, I would like to give special praise to our instructor, who was very attentive. Especially for someone like me who is not familiar with the water, they constantly provided support and guidance, which made me feel more at ease. Two of the instructors spoke fluent English, which made communication effective. However, the ratio of instructors to participants was about 1:10, which may not be enough to take good care of each student during the diving process. In addition, the hot tea and hot water provided on the boat were very thoughtful, allowing us to warm up during breaks in the activities. However, I think it would be better if there were more practice opportunities before getting into the water. Because if you go into the water all at once, you will be a little nervous, so more practice time can help us enjoy the diving experience more smoothly. We were also fortunate enough to see whales on the return trip! Overall, this experience is highly recommended and left a deep impression on me!

Amazing experience! The water is insanely clear. The crew on the boat are fantastic, super friendly and always looking for the best spot to stop at. Highlight: we saw 3 turtles! It was epic.

I had the best moments of my life in the Okinawa sea. I don't think I'll ever forget the ramen and cigarettes I had on the sea. Thank you, Christina.

Instructor: The instructor was very kind and explained everything well. Experience: The time was a bit short, but it was still good. Location: The snorkeling spot was great. Equipment: It might be better if you have your own equipment.

Great experience overall, but would have liked for the staff to be a bit more interactive. They were more like robots and did not communicate with us at all during our time on the boat except to explain what to do and how long we will be off the boat. They take photos and send you a link to all the photos taken during the trip but did not get any of my family. They disclose that they do not provide lunch and for the price you pay, I’d expect some sort of snack, water or bento. We got picked up in Chatan and it was not disclosed to us that we would be stopping in Naha to pickup other passengers. They do not provide protective gear. They provide nothing but a ride and snorkeling equipment, very minimal for the price you pay.

This was a great experience! We loved that we were able to snorkel & dive! We were so happy with the locations! The people were very friendly & explained everything throughally before letting us go out & gave good insight on each location we stopped at. Only think I wish was different I would've like 2 dives & a. Snorkel or a longer dive. It seemed like we were only under for 20-30 min diving. They did give us the option to pay an additional ¥5500/person to do a second dive. It was still a great experience & the people running it were wonderful! If you're thinking about it, go for it! They even took our photos!

Excellent snorkeling excursion run by Cerulean Blue Okinawa tour agency around three spots around the Kerama Islands National Park. While snorkeling, we saw a variety of wildlife, including sea turtles and clownfish. I would highly recommend this experience. The only area for improvement is the check-in process, which was run inefficiently since there were multiple different excursions run by the same company meeting at the same spot at the Naha Miegusuku Port Waiting Room. The check-in process could have been run much more efficiently if the staff members split up the groups by tour and handed out clipboards and pens to everyone to fill out simultaneously instead of everyone waiting in line to check in one-by-one.

They contact you a day in advance, and the pick-up and drop-off are very convenient. The lunchbox was simple but delicious. There's a Chinese translator accompanying you, and underwater photos are available for selection.

I made the reservation too late, so I ended up booking a course without a Korean guide. Since it is a course included in the diving, they gathered everyone together before the dive and gave us a detailed explanation, warning of danger, and directions for responding in case of danger. I was very satisfied with the scuba diving experience along with the snorkeling, and the second snorkeling was changed to fun diving (licensed), and I was the only one who chose the option for that scuba diving, so I think I was able to proceed with the tour more smoothly. It was great to see turtles at the turtle point, and it was also cute and fun to see the clown fish in the anemone fish that were a little deeper. Even during the fun diving, the instructor kept checking to see if I was following along well and took responsibility for my safety. If your flight schedule and overall travel schedule match well, I highly recommend doing either the experience diving or the fun diving. In particular, no matter how good the water at the beach is, snorkeling in deep waters is really great because you can see in really clean water without any sand, so the field of vision is really wide and you can see deeply, which was great.
