Held on 14 April and 15 April 2017, the Takayama Spring Festival is known as one of the three most beautiful festivals held in Japan. Depart from Nagoya in a shuttle bus that is led by an English speaking guide and spend time in Takayama where large ornate floats will be seen displayed throughout the streets in celebration of a good harvest. Visit the various food stalls and vendors that will be offering local delicacies and various festive shows, the most popular being the marionette puppets. In the late afternoon, you will be taken to Shirakawa-go, a small town village known for its traditional houses and laidback vibe. You will have time to stroll around the village and snap memorable photographs to share with your friends and families. At the end of your tour, you will be taken back to Nagoya. Due to the extreme popularity of these attractions during the festival, transportation can be difficult, so book with Klook now to save yourself the trouble of working out how to get there!
