Upon arrival at the rental store, you will be greeted by multilingual staff who will assist you in English, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. You will offered a large variety of prints and textiles to choose from, which can be overwhelming, but don't worry, the staff are happy to help you pick out a kimono that is perfect for you. Putting on a kimono is tricky and complicated to most, so learn the secrets of how to wear and move around gracefully in a kimono from the staff. If you opt for the hair styling add-ons or choose the 'Luxurious Kimono' package, you will even get your hair done to reflect your full attire. Once you are ready, you can stroll through Kyoto in style and fully immerse yourself in the traditional atmosphere of the city. Reviews
Very close to the main attraction, 10 minutes walk after completed the attire. Many eateries nearby It took about 30minute or less as we are the first 10 customer at 930am slot
The earliest we can make a reservation is 9:30. We are going from Osaka that day, and it takes about an hour to drive, including waiting for the bus or walking. We made an appointment at 10:30 and arrived at the store around 10:38. The receptionist at the counter could speak Chinese and asked if we wanted to purchase a special braided hairstyle for girls (I added 1,500)~ There is also 500 yen for dirt insurance. /person, I was afraid of sudden rain or sudden stains from eating, so I added a little bit (but not including blood stains). It’s really hard to choose clothes and accessories. The store staff will help remove the barriers to choice and help with matching. Boys can do whatever they want🤣 The teachers who wear kimonos and make up and hair are all Japanese. Occasionally, I have to rely on the Chinese receptionist to help convey my meaning. Thank you for everything going smoothly. !
The service attitude is very good. The waiters on the first floor can speak Chinese~ During the selection process, they will help and suggest how to match the girls' clothes. There are many choices and they are all very beautiful. The staff who help put on kimonos speak Japanese. Although they don't understand it very well, they all smile. The conversation was very nice. The hair was styled quickly and carefully, and the finished product is beautiful. What a great experience! ! !
It's very close to Kiyomizudera Temple. The location is easy to find. The staff can all speak Chinese. I was worried that it would be difficult to find so I made an appointment at 11:30. Unexpectedly, I found it before 10:30 in advance. The store still provides early service for dressing up and dressing up. I suggest you bring some with you. Wear your own shoes, because wearing clogs for a day is very painful.
highly recommended. 和服款式很多有不同顏色。 職員好提貼professional地给意見如何配搭。Hairstylist 同樣非常professional 幫我哋裝扮得好美。 時間充裕。
The service attitude is very good, and the receptionist can speak Chinese. Although the masters in kimonos don’t speak English very well, it’s okay to communicate by hand. The masters are very kind. It’s very close to Shumizu Temple, and it’s not too far to walk to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka. It’s super recommended.
This kimono shop has Chinese-speaking clerks, so you don’t have to worry about the language barrier. The service is very good and they will also give you suggestions on matching kimonos. I highly recommend travelers to Kiyomizudera Temple to rent kimonos and take photos.
This store is really great. Sure enough, klook is the most trustworthy app I have ever used. The reviews are very high. The staff’s attitude is also very good and very professional.
It is very close to Kiyomizudera Temple and there are many beautiful historical sites. There is a Chinese-speaking clerk in the store explaining that there is Ninnenzaka nearby. Sannianzaka can be used for shopping. It has beautiful mountains and rivers. It is a place worth visiting to sublimate the body and mind.
The hair style is very beautiful, there are many kimono styles to choose from, and the overall combination is very satisfying👍. Thanks to the staff here for their kind service. The weather is a bit too hot this time, so you should choose a yukata + clogs, otherwise you may get a bit of a heat stroke while wearing a kimono🥵.
