It is a must-have item when crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. I was wondering if I really needed a bicycle to cross the bridge, but the bridge was longer than I thought and there was a slope at the entrance to the bridge, so if it wasn't for my electric bike, I would have been in trouble.
I paid a $1 deposit on the same day, but it was not refunded. Just a walk-in visit costs $68, so there is no need to make a reservation in advance.
