Fukui: Kubota Sake Brewery Tasting Experience

Step into the world of sake tasting at Kubota Sake Brewery, home of the Fukukoma brand. This experience focuses on comparative tasting rather than a traditional brewery tour.

Begin with an introduction to the brewery’s history and brewing philosophy. Learn how local water, rice, and traditional methods shape Fukukoma sake.

Next, join a structured tasting of selected sake. Compare light and rich styles, young and matured expressions, and differences created by polishing ratios and fermentation. Discover how these choices influence aroma, texture, flavor, and balance.

As the lineup changes with the season and brewery stock, each visit offers a different tasting experience. Ideal for both first-time visitors and sake enthusiasts.
