- The sea area has clear and stable water quality, allowing close observation of wild whale sharks; the Blue Cave has a strong light and shadow atmosphere, perfect for photos; the itinerary is slightly adjusted according to weather and sea conditions, ensuring high safety for travel.
What to expect
The cost is per person, and a minimum of 2 people are required to form a group.
Snorkeling age: 6-65 years old, introductory diving age: 10-60 years old.
- In the morning, gather at Naha Izumizaki Hotel. Staff will verify order information, and then take a dedicated vehicle to the departure port.
- Upon arrival at the port, depart by boat to the first snorkeling area. Along the way, the instructor will explain snorkeling guidelines, underwater safety precautions, and distribute snorkeling equipment.
- Arrive at the Blue Cave area and go snorkeling with a professional instructor. Enjoy the blue light seascape inside the cave, observe underwater fish up close, and take underwater photos freely.
- Return to the boat for a short break, rehydrate and rest, then take a vehicle to the whale shark activity area.
- Arrive at the whale shark habitat area, go snorkeling in batches, observe wild whale sharks up close within a safe range, swim with the fish, and experience an immersive swim with whale sharks.
- After the activity, return to the port by boat, and a dedicated vehicle will take you back to Naha Izumizaki Hotel, concluding the day's itinerary.
Remarks:
① The order of visiting the two snorkeling spots may be adjusted based on the wind direction, waves, and whale shark sightings on the day. ② Guests who wish to experience deep diving can upgrade to the introductory diving program; simply place a separate order for the introductory diving upgrade at each pier. ③ Professional instructors are provided throughout, so even those without snorkeling experience can participate.










Good to know
- This itinerary requires a minimum of 2 people to form a group. Please gather at Okinawa Itonoyado Hotel, near Naha Kokusai Street, on time. No waiting for latecomers.
- Equipment: Will be prepared and brought to the pier according to the collected sizes. Please bring your own rash guard or swimsuit to wear inside the wetsuit.
- Meals: The one-day itinerary includes a bento lunch. Please inform us in advance if you have any dietary restrictions. Please bring your own drinking water.
- Showers: Showers are not available at the Blue Cave dive site. The instructor will bring fresh water for a simple rinse. Showers are available after the whale shark diving. Please bring your own towel, shampoo, and shower gel. It is recommended to wear slippers when boarding the boat on the day of diving.
- There are no changing rooms at the dive site. You will need to change in the toilet, which is quite narrow. It is recommended to wear your rash guard under your clothes in the morning for more convenience.
- The boat ride to the Blue Cave dive site is about 10 minutes, and to the whale shark dive site is about 5 minutes. If you are prone to seasickness, please take seasickness medication in advance.
- Due to waves, sea conditions, and wind, the order of attractions or dive sites may be temporarily adjusted. In case of typhoons, big waves, or severe weather, the trip may be postponed or canceled.
- Please do not fly within 12 hours after diving. Pregnant women, individuals with high blood pressure, asthma, or those who have recently undergone surgery cannot participate in snorkeling.
- Please follow the instructor's guidance throughout the trip and do not touch marine life.
