Reviews
This visit to the Fubon Art Museum to see self-portraits and landscape paintings from the European Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassicism, and Romanticism was excellent. The exhibition featured many artworks, clear explanations, and an uncrowded display space. For the ticket price, it offered great value.
The exhibition features a rich collection of works, allowing visitors to get up close to classic paintings by Rembrandt and other master artists, and to appreciate the charm of light, shadow, and detail. The flow of the exhibition space is smooth, making for a wonderful overall viewing experience! Buying tickets on the second-to-last day of the exhibition was very convenient!
Fubon Art Museum's facilities and space are very comfortable, and it's just a short walk from City Hall Station! This exhibition was incredibly impressive; there were so many artworks, and you could view and photograph them up close.
The exhibition was fantastic! The layout was consistent with the recent art exhibition, "Blossoming: Masterpieces of Viennese Floral Painting from Belvedere Palace – From Waldmüller to Klimt." The overall artistic atmosphere and visual coordination were excellent. With over fifty paintings to admire, it was definitely worth the price of admission!
I thought the "Masters of Classical Light and Shadow" exhibition at the Fubon Art Museum this time was wonderful! Being able to appreciate the genuine, original works of masters like Rembrandt and Goya up close, with the details of light and shadow, brushstrokes, and layers right before your eyes, is something that simply cannot be compared to looking at books or screens.
The museum is easy to find and quite spacious. This exhibition is divided into the first and third floors, and you can also visit the Chang Yu art exhibition for free. Unfortunately, there aren't many paintings by Rembrandt and Goya, but the portrait section is still very impressive. Additionally, the restrooms in the museum are very well-maintained, and the staff strictly enforce rules, so visitors cannot wander freely.
The Fubon Art Museum has a comfortable space with well-planned exhibition routes. Aside from the entrance area being a bit crowded, most exhibits have plenty of space to listen to the audio guide and view the artwork at a leisurely pace. The electronic tickets are convenient to use, and I will definitely pre-order for the next exhibition.
Buying tickets online and scanning the QR code directly at the venue is so convenient! Plus, you can use coupons and K-Coins for discounts, which makes it a great deal!
The staff inside were all very polite and patient; it was a great experience! The visitor's sketchbook inside is really interesting! I highly recommend everyone go check it out, hahaha. It turns out people's points of interest can be quite similar!
Every painting is worth savoring, and squinting your eyes can better reveal the layering effect of light and shadow in the artwork. The Fubon Art Museum is an excellent place for appreciation.
