Bruny Island & Margate Train Full-Day Exploration Tour

We’re so glad we made it to Bruny Island 🥹✨ It was such a last-minute decision because we couldn’t decide between Maria Island or Bruny — but honestly, no regrets at all 🌿🌊 So grateful we booked our tour through Klook and got matched with the most amazing guide 🤍 She was incredibly flexible, thoughtful, and made the whole experience feel so easy and enjoyable. We left Bruny feeling so happy, fulfilled, and grateful for the memories made 🫶🏻

It was a great experience. We were guided by Mesh, and she kept us safe, entertained, and assisted us with everything we needed. She was very clear when explaining the tour and was always on time. Her vehicle was perfect; we were riding on a comfy ride. It was a memorable experience for my family. I am glad I booked this in Klook. The highlight for me was the Big Lagoon, where not many people go. It was truly memorable because it was just us who went there, and encountering nature was very, very surreal.

The trip to Bruny Island was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We first visited the Margate Train, where the old train carriages had been turned into charming art shops and local stores filled with unique handmade crafts and artworks, creating a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. After that, we continued with a scenic cruise to Bruny Island, and even though the weather was cloudy, the views were still beautiful and peaceful. One of the highlights of the trip was eating fresh oysters at Get Shucked Oyster Bar, which were absolutely delicious and lived up to Bruny Island’s famous seafood reputation. We were also very lucky to spot the rare white wallaby, which made the experience even more special and memorable. To end the tour, we visited the Blue Lagoon area where we saw groups of graceful black swans swimming calmly across the water, creating a perfect and relaxing ending to the day. The tour was a wonderful combination of nature, wildlife, food.

I spent a lot of time researching before booking this tour, and the experience completely exceeded my expectations! Our tour guide was incredibly professional, shared so many fascinating local stories throughout the journey, and was an exceptionally steady driver. The itinerary was perfectly paced—we got to check out the breathtaking views at The Neck, enjoyed incredibly fresh oysters, and visited unique local cheese and honey farms. The absolute highlight was spotting wild white wallabies in the bush; it was so magical! Clear pricing with zero hidden costs. It was a worth it trip and experience to do 😊 We went there yesterday (when the sun decided to show up 1st half of the day), and given that it was raining the entire week we weren't able to go to Big Lagoon - as it was heavily mudded. Our tour guide Holly was kind enough to suggest and bring us instead to Bruny Island Cheese Co to maximise our time - and it was really awesome ❤️ The island itself is definitely charming and would love to come back again.
