As an adventure girlie, this was the highlight for me. Sea caves, fur seals, penguin birds & so much more! Battling against the wind, waves and journey to the edge of the world. Literally haha. Sooo fun and exhilarating! Another tick off the bucket list!
The tour is really fantastic, it is the first time to Bruby Island, good experience to explore all the caves.Weather is good and not too cold, very windy on the boat though but a good experience to travel in the sea with the speedboat.
the tour was really organized thanks to the tour guide and also we really managed to enjoy the tour together with other fellow tourists in the island. it was really cold in the island during those hours and we are glad that we have experienced it
Our guides throughout are friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The food is great and the sights are worth it.
The itinerary includes driving from Hobart, taking the bus to Kattering to catch the ferry to Bruny Island, and then continuing to drive until you reach Advanture Bay. After arriving, you will have a simple breakfast, which was a muffin and a cup of coffee or tea on that day. Then you will listen to the boat instructions, put on your red raincoat (the size is very large, don’t worry, and it won’t smell, it has been tidied up), and then you can line up to get on the boat. The whole voyage was very exciting, and my heart would rise and fall with the waves, but it was not too dangerous, I think the captain was very experienced. Our boat will stop in front of some special landscapes, and the captain will turn off the motor (? Sorry, I'm not sure what the rumbling part is). In short, when it becomes quiet, you can hear the sounds of nature more clearly. We saw seals, dolphins and some sea birds along the way, which was very cute and wonderful. Overall, I would recommend this trip. Finally, I would like to give a final credit to our driver, tour guide and group leader on 27/01/25. I regret that I cannot remember her name. Thank you for driving safely since early in the morning, accompanying us on the boat and providing wonderful sharing. After returning to the city, she asked us one by one in a warm manner to get off at various nearby hotels. She is a very professional staff, I wish everyone can meet her! I believe it will make your journey more enjoyable.
Tasmania is fantastic! We enjoy boat trip. We have seen wonderful nature of Bruny Island. The guiders are very nice, friendly.
the trip is fantastic and very exciting. you will be able to view the sea animals and the fantaistic cliff in this trip.
it’s a true adventure to the wilderness with great respect to the Mother Nature! We depart from Hobart on a fine day and the bus journey to Kittering took about an hour followed by bus on ferry to Bruny Island.after a brief muffin, coffee and tea. We then gathered for a briefing and pickup our all over water proof outfit then get on the boat. The rain started when we were getting on the boat. it’s an open boat everyone got wet on their waterproof outfit. when the rain stopped the wind picked up, it’s more excited than a roller coaster ride as the boat was going against the wind and flying over the high waves. we finally reached the fur seal colony and its was massive and worth the journey! it’s best to wear warm clothing and water proof shoes as it gets really wet and cold. The cruise was 2.5 hours, best not to go to the toilet on boat. we took motion sickness pills before depart (provided) and I believe that helped a lot. As we returned from the cruise the delicious lunch was waiting for us at the restaurant. everything was well organised and the guide was extremely professional including driving the coach, explain the sites and history of places along the way, he makes sure our safety during the cruise. I will recommend this for those adventure seekers but it’s not for the faint hearted.
It was great tour, all the staffs very informatif, helpful and have high sense of joke. So it's perfect. i enjoyed it a lot 😍😍
It was a great experience at sea. The crew was friendly and had a great sense of humor. The waterproof clothing provided to each person before boarding was very useful. You didn’t have to worry about your clothes getting wet from the sea water and getting cold during the whole journey. We walked and stopped along the way, didn't feel cold, and even saw a group of dolphins and seals. It was an hour-long return trip to the Clippers, and I felt a little cold halfway through the journey. It got colder and colder later on, so I had to wear more clothes! Even though it’s summer! !
