Hunter Valley & Anna Bay Full-Day Tour with Wine Tasting From Sydney

The tour was soooo good! Our guide was super friendly, shared lots of fun stories throughout the day, and even helped us take photos everywhere we went. The camel riding and sandboarding were definitely the highlights of the trip and one of the best experiences you can have around Sydney. 4 Pines was also great! Lunch was included, and I chose the steak—it was really good. The wine tasting was amazing too. I ended up trying so many different wines that I got a little tipsy lol. Thanks to Shirley, our tour guide!

Really enjoyed this well-balanced and interesting tour. It was a great day out in overall; good weather with stops at a chocolate factory, winery, beach and the highlight was definitely the camel riding along the beach, a very unique experience. We also visited an award-winning craft brewery for lunch and had the chance to sample some interesting wines, especially the Semillon, which is a specialty of the region. Our guide, Sonne, was wonderful, very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He shared information about the wines and the area, and even made stops along the way for us to spot kangaroos and whales. Overall, it was a memorable experience and definitely is a recommended tour for a fun and diverse day out away from Sydney

Our tour guide, Mark, was very thorough in his explanations and could communicate in multiple languages! The trip was extremely enjoyable and very well organized. The activity after the wine tasting was safe yet offered a bit of excitement, and we even got to see wild kangaroos! The camel ride was definitely worth it!

The combination of a Hunter Valley wine tasting and an Anna Bay camel ride is highly recommended. Combining regional wine-tasting with striking coastal sand dunes, this itinerary provides an excellent mix of relaxation and adventure. Super fun!!! I didn't expect that just two people could form a group! Our guide, Shelly, was also great to us! She even doubled as our driver~ You absolutely have to go camel riding, it's super fun!!!! I highly recommend everyone join this new tour (it even includes lunch, which is a great deal).

This day trip was much more enriching than I expected! I originally signed up because I was drawn to the sand dune activities in Port Stephens, but I unexpectedly really enjoyed the Hunter Valley winery tour. The wine tasting experience was fun, and the staff introduced the characteristics of different wines. I chose the archery experience; the instructor explained everything very clearly, making it easy for even first-timers to pick up and feel a great sense of accomplishment while playing. In the afternoon, we went sandboarding at Anna Bay, which was faster than I imagined—very exciting and fun! The overall itinerary was well-planned and smooth, without constantly rushing. We were able to enjoy natural scenery and experience various activities. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the city and experience a different side of Sydney's surroundings.

Although the chocolate factory workshop wasn't open, products were available for purchase. We learned about the history of Hunter Valley wines and basic varietals, and participated in a wine tasting. We could take photos with the farm animals, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. We pre-ordered a delicious lunch, which included a famous Japanese Lager from the winery. The camel beach ride was a fresh and new experience. The overall tour experience was perfect; travelers weren't overly tired from the long journey, but it certainly tested the driver's focus and energy.

Such a fun day trip! The wineries were beautiful and I loved being able to taste different wines without having to worry about driving.
