Osaka Private City Exploration Day Tour: Best Cultural Highlights

We had a wonderful day with Yuichi, who showed us around his city. He answered our questions well and showed us some places we definitely wouldn't have found on our own. We enjoyed a very good lunch together and even got tips for the next few days. Thank you very much :)

we had a very nice time with Yukari on our tour. she was very patient and understanding. she asked us what we wanted our tour to be like and was very flexible and took us to the places we wanted to go and we learned about history of Osaka. without her we would’ve been lost so she was more than nice company. thank you Yukari!

Osaka was amazing because of Sachi! She was very patient, considerate, kind, organized, and informative. She meet us at our hotel and taught us how to use the atm. She went over the itinerary with us along with providing subway passes for the day. If it wasn’t for her, we would have waited in the long lines. She prepared “laminated” Osaka castle information as well as provided the history while walking. She was inclusive with the Japanese culture. All the locations I wanted to cross off my list was successful done and more. I can say so much more and praise Sanchi for the wonderful experience. This experience was the greatest moments of my life.

We had the most amazing personalized tour in Osaka, thanks to our incredible guide, Yoshi — “Yosh”! From the moment we met him, he was so fun, friendly, and welcoming that we instantly felt like part of his family. We’re an English-speaking family traveling with a teenager and a 10-year-old, and Yoshi made the entire day enjoyable for all of us. He was wonderfully patient and happily answered every question we had. Yoshi took us to Osaka Castle and guided us through the beautiful grounds, then brought us to an unforgettable market experience (truly amazing!). We explored Dotonbori, enjoyed a delicious sushi lunch at a restaurant we picked randomly (it was delicious), and ended our day at the Osaka Municipal Housing Museum, which was surprisingly lovely. If you're looking for a guide who’s knowledgeable, warm, great with kids, and genuinely invested in making your day special, Yosh is the one. Our time with him was a highlight of our trip — highly recommended!

The tour was a great way to explore Osaka. We booked the tour for our first full day in Japan. It helped having someone show us how to use underground transport. We also got to sample some of the unique food when we visited the seafood market. I would recommend this tour. Our tour guides were fantastic. They helped us out in so many ways. They were the best tour guides I have ever encountered. They made us feel like we were exploring with friends.

What a wonderful way to experience Osaka on our first day. Our guide Miyo was exceptional. She picked us up early as we had requested (jet lag). Miyo spoke great English and was knowledgeable and super friendly. She made sure we were comfortable, happy and always asked what we wanted and needed. We didn’t have to stand in long lines because she has a tour guide pass which was excellent. Miyo catered to our family (especially our boys) which was paramount to our experience. We did not feel rushed or pressured at any point. we saw the beautiful spots to see in Osaka and we have photos by Miyo to remember. Miyo was honest and kind, and very considerate. We highly recommend this private tour and give it 5-stars all the way!

On May 27th, we had this tour with a lovely, kind, and helpful female guide. Unfortunately, we've forgotten her name. From the castle, Dotonbori, Museum of Housing and Living, and so on, everything was explained with equal enthusiasm. Nothing was too much trouble for her when we asked for something. I would say: just book it!

My son and I had a wonderful day exploring Osaka with our guide Ayako-san, who was super knowledgeable and a lovely person! This is the perfect way to do a one day tour of Osaka. Highlights were Osaka Castle, Kuromon Market, Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi. We stopped at Botejyu Dontonbori restaurant for some delicious okonomiyaki at lunchtime. We highly recommend this tour! 😊

it was a great experience to Japan especially in Osaka woth Yuichi as our tour guide. he is very patient, kind, he is able to adjust as per our pacing, extended his period of guiding us without asking for additional charges. in the future to make his service more interesting, if you may, suggesting to improve english speaking capability. hoping to see you next time. thank you
