What to expect
Experience the charm of Kitakyushu, known as the “City of Sushi,” with a hands-on sushi making session at Heishirou, a beloved local conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. Using Heishirou’s original sushi-making kit, even first-time learners can easily create authentic nigiri sushi. This fun and memorable activity is perfect for families, friends, and food lovers who want to enjoy both making and tasting sushi in a warm, welcoming setting.

- Please provide your preferred start time when making a reservation. Note that you may need to wait depending on restaurant busyness.
- If you do not arrive by your reserved start time, your booking will be treated as a cancellation. Refunds are not available.
- The rice for this experience is pre-prepared. This is not a full sushi-making class, but a hands-on activity to enjoy the sushi-making atmosphere.
- Instruction is in Japanese only. The experience video includes English, Korean, and Chinese subtitles.
- Drinks are not included. Any additional orders will incur extra charges, payable separately.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the building.
- The restaurant has two branches in Kokura. Please ensure you go to the correct location.
