Takachiho Gorge was formed over 100,000 years ago by the eruption of Mount Aso, creating a breathtaking landscape of spectacular columnar basalt and clear flowing water. You can stroll along the gorge trail and admire the natural beauty of the river valley from different heights.
Next, enjoy a selected Takachiho beef teppanyaki lunch. Takachiho beef was praised by the Prime Minister in the 2007 Wagyu competition (commonly known as the "Wagyu Olympics") and is widely loved for its tender and sweet taste. *From April, lunch will be Miyazaki local cuisine (Chicken Nanban and Kawara Soba with green tea).
Afterwards, you are free to visit Takachiho Shrine to experience its profound cultural heritage and mythical stories.
