This is a city adventure through time. We will start from the fortune cat at Yanchengpu MRT Station, which symbolizes good luck, pass by the 228 Peace Memorial Park that witnessed Taiwan's democratic process, and stop to admire the Kaohsiung Museum of History with its "Imperial Crown Style" architectural aesthetics, feeling the solemn atmosphere of the Japanese occupation period.

In the afternoon, we will take you into the most popular "Yancheng Public Market" in Kaohsiung in recent years. There is no dirt and mess of traditional markets here, only the warm sunlight shining through the wooden roof, and the lively vitality of young entrepreneurs and old vendors coexisting. It is a secret base for hipsters and gourmets.

At the end of the trip, we will head to the beach. Feel the sea breeze blowing at the pier that witnessed the glorious history of the Banana Kingdom; stroll through the cultural and creative atmosphere of Pier-2 Art Center. Finally, step on the "Great Harbor Bridge," the longest cross-harbor rotating bridge in Asia, and draw the most perfect end to this journey in the afterglow of the sunset or the brilliant night view.

The local market was a real highlight for us. There were traditional Taiwanese snacks, and our guide, Olivia, recommended several local food spots along the way. My travel companion and I were honestly amazed by how good everything tasted. We reached the harbor right around sunset, and the timing couldn’t have been better. The colors, the breeze, and the view were absolutely beautiful. It was such a memorable way to end the walk.
