Reviews
Our 4-day, 3-night trip was excellent overall. I was a bit worried at first, but upon arrival at the airport, a tour guide met us. On the way to the hotel, we saw the Northern Lights, and the guide immediately helped us chase them and take photos. Due to limited room availability, we couldn't stay in the same hotel for all three nights. The guide assisted us with the hotel transfer and arranged for us to tour the city with explanations. For the three nights of aurora chasing, on the second night, we were arranged to wait for the Northern Lights in a house, or we could choose to wait in a tent. On the third night, we waited in the car. Hot tea and water were also provided.
The tour leadership and arrangements lacked thoroughness, with frequent oversights. The itinerary arrangements were unclear during the trip, and we had to ask about many things ourselves. Regarding the itinerary, aside from the aurora viewing, the rest of the activities mostly involved being dropped off at attractions and exploring on our own, with little to no explanation, assistance with taking photos, or guidance. Furthermore, many things we confirmed in advance via messages, such as hotel requests and agreed-upon airport transfer times, were met with assurances of "no problem, okay, okay," but ultimately proved unreliable, with forgetfulness, broken promises, and tardiness. We suggest observing the service and planning methods of other companies in the industry. Overall, there is significant room for improvement.
