Aurora Northern Lights Chase Tour in Yellowknife

An awesome and skilled guide! Despite cloudy skies on the first night, our guide's persistence paid off and we were rewarded with a fantastic viewing (and amazing photos) on the second night. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. The tour was well-organized, starting with hot drinks at base camp before heading out to several spots. We loved that he took and shared such great photos with us via a download link. Highly recommend!

Hysan is very professional and nice. I didn’t do much research before coming to Yellowknife and ended up choosing the off-season. Hysan used his own personal time to take us out to chase the aurora at 7pm when it became visible — just to make sure everyone had the chance to see it. It was incredible thoughtful of him, and the whole tour arrangement was perfect!

We met Jing, who was our female driver, tour guide, and photographer. She took our group of four to chase the Northern Lights. It was a cloudy day with thick clouds, so the chances of seeing the aurora were not high. We went to three locations. At the first spot, we saw a little bit of the Northern Lights. At the second spot, we didn't see anything at all. By the third spot, everyone was reluctant to get out of the car. We drank the hot chocolate Jing had prepared, and just as we were about to leave, Jing suddenly announced that the Northern Lights had appeared. Everyone rushed out of the car and, surprisingly, saw the strongest aurora of the night, though it was very brief. Overall, the itinerary was well-planned.

It was supposed to be cloudy today, so I didn't expect to see the aurora borealis shortly after heading out, and it wasn't a small display either. It was truly a delightful surprise. The best part was Qingqing, our tour leader, guide, and driver, who provided exceptionally warm, thorough, and thoughtful service. She patiently took photos for every guest and took great care of everyone in every aspect. I'm so glad I spontaneously chose this tour! 👍

Today, we were incredibly lucky to witness a spectacular aurora borealis display! 🥰 We're also very grateful to Tim, our guide and driver, for helping us find the best viewing spots and for taking beautiful photos for us. ❤️ They are fluent in both Chinese and English! 👍

We were so lucky to see the Northern Lights! Our guide and driver, Tim, was wonderful and very enthusiastic. He even took turns taking photos for all of us. After the activity, he provided hot cocoa to help us warm up. 🥰

Our tour guide was very attentive and friendly. Not only did she constantly look for the Northern Lights, but she also checked in on each of us regularly. As soon as the Northern Lights appeared, she quickly helped us find the best angles for photos. We took many beautiful pictures, and the overall experience was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended!

good service, although first 3 stops cannot see the Aurora, our tour guide still trying to bring us to next destination and wait for the Aurora come out. finally we can see it ! our tour guide also offering us hot chocolate and free sovenier when the trip end.

Our driver, Jing, was very kind. The clouds were quite thick that day, but she first took us to the initial lakeside spot. As the clouds eventually cleared, we finally saw the aurora borealis we had been hoping for. It was a wonderful experience! :)

Today's weather was quite cloudy, but our female tour guide and driver worked very hard, observing the clouds to find a suitable spot for aurora viewing. In the last hour before we had to leave, we finally saw the aurora, which was incredibly lucky. I'm very grateful to her for driving us around to find the best viewing spots and for helping us take beautiful photos. 🥰
