The dreamy blue of the Blue Pond is even more stunning; the water's surface presents different shades of blue with changes in light and shadow, tranquil and mysterious.
- Next, step into Shirahige Falls, where water cascades down from rock crevices like silk and whiskers, splashing with slightly blue-tinged water, cool and breathtaking. In the afternoon, leisurely stop at Furano HERB GARDEN to taste Hokkaido's delicacies or experience herb crafting, slowing down the pace. Finally, arrive at Tomita Farm, where various flowers are spread out in layers. Looking down from a height, the entire Furano Basin is in full view, romantic and expansive 🌸.

Four Seasons Color Hill: A vast and beautiful flower field covering an area of 15 hectares, like a seven-color rainbow carpet, with different flowers in different seasons
Four Seasons Color Hill: Every year from the end of May to the end of October, more than 30 kinds of flowers such as tulips, lavender, and sunflowers bloom on the rolling hills, just like a palette in the hands of a painter.
Shikicai Hill: There is a giant scarecrow standing in the flower field, very cute

Four Seasons Color Hill: There are also several alpacas here for tourists to visit and feed (you can choose to visit the alpaca ranch in the park, the entrance fee is 500 yen, please pay for it yourself)
Blue Pond: Located on the left bank of the Biei River in Hokkaido, it was formed by a dam built to intercept volcanic magma. In the sun, the water in the pond reflects blue, hence the name.
Blue Pond: Photographed by National Geographic photographer Kent Shiraishi, the work was later acquired by Apple and became one of the default desktops for the MAC series
Blue Pond: The water contains rich minerals and soil and sand components from volcanic ash. Under the sunlight, the Blue Pond will present different colors with subtle changes in the environment.
Shirahige Falls: 30 meters in height, 600 meters above sea level, named after the white beard-like water that pours down from the cracks in the rocks
Shirahige Falls: Water gushing out from underground hits the rocks, creating waves with a blue glow. The mountains and waters here are beautiful in summer and covered with snow in winter.
Farm Tomita: One of the oldest flower fields in Japan, it has transformed from a farm that used to focus on lavender to a large farm with more than 150 kinds of flowers.
Tomita Farm: The lavender flowering season usually starts in June, and the winter greenhouse opens in mid-August, where you can see lavender, geraniums and other plants.
Farm Tomita: Crocuses start blooming in mid-April, daffodils and tulips in May, etc.
Furano Herb Garden Furano is located in the idyllic scenery of Hokkaido, with the magnificent Tokachi Mountain Range as its backdrop. You can enjoy the natural beauty of the four seasons here.

The patchwork road was a disappointment. Suggest don’t go during autumn. The rest of the tour was pretty much ok. The blue pond was amazing & so is Shikisai-no-Oka. Our guide Rita is cheerful & helpful & ever so willing to take pictures for us. Thanks Rita.

I joined the one-day tour to Shikisai-no-oka, Shirahige Falls, Blue Pond, and Farm Tomita in Hokkaido yesterday, and it was fantastic! A special thanks to our guide, Sophia, who was fluent in both Chinese and English, and very friendly. She not only provided detailed introductions to the tourist attractions but also gave us many recommendations for places to eat and things to do in Sapporo, as well as information on various Japanese brands and department stores worth shopping at, which was incredibly helpful. My favorite attractions were Shirahige Falls and Shikisai-no-oka. Shirahige Falls was spectacular, and Shikisai-no-oka had beautiful fields of colorful flowers. We visited 4 or 5 attractions in one day, but the itinerary was well-planned, and it didn't feel rushed at all.
