Very convenient, you can visit two major attractions in one day. Both are very good, a recommended tour group.
It's easy to identify in the morning, and there's no difficulty recognizing each other. The tour guide, Mika, explained things in detail and was very friendly, and the driver was also very friendly.
Guide and driver were excellent. more than enough time at each stop. Wasn’t expecting the long walks to each spot but can’t help that. Would do more trips like this again.
Our family had a great time. Time provided to explore each stop was enough. The only thing I recommend is skip the lunch recommendation of the guide. It was pricy and no so good. Recommend to try the street food or other restaurant around the area. Also since Nara deer park was the last stop, it was hard to find or buy the deer food. They usually sell it for 200 yen for ten pieces. The guide have some deer food handy which he sold for 1000 yen for 10 piece (times five) what a business man. Other than that the tour was really good.
The tour was good overall, it saves you time because you get to see a lot in one day and not get tired by using public transport. The first temple is beautiful. Places are crowded, when you get to Nara in the afternoon there is no deer food left to buy… Could be nice to have some on the bus to sell.
It was a great time. It would have been even better with a Korean-speaking guide.
The tour took us to the hit spots of Kyoto and Nara in the comfort of the air-conditioned bus in one single day. Saved our legs from walking during the commute. Money well spent!
