Kampung Kitchen Buffet Restaurant at ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre

I come on Sunday around 130pm. This is a subjective review, and I’ll remark food I recommended. 1. Fried fish with tomato sauce The fried black pomfret with tomato sauce remind me my mom’s recipe. Though it’s not crispy while served, I still like it. 2. Daging kurma Unlike the coconut gravy beef, kurma beef is much tender and flavourful. I guess both using sliced buffalo topside, kurma beef is superior. 3. Mee rebus To my surprise the rebus kuah is very flavourful, I guess there’s tochi inside. moderate spicy and viscosity. 4. Chocolate cake Coffee icing on top, nice bitterness matching the chocolate sponge cake 5. The small buns (not the steamed one) Outside remains crispy, good to match with any jam, butter, coffee etc. Improvement: 1. I think the prawn can be cooked with different flavours 2. Desserts are way too sweet except chocolate cake 3. Chicken cream soup is way too weird, mayb try corn cream soup. Summary: Overall it’s worthy and remarkable.

Malay food buffet , not worth to buy from Klook App, better direct purchase the buffet vouchers from hotel to get a cheaper price.

We had a wonderful family dinner at Kampung Kitchen to celebrate my son 17th birthday, and it has officially become our new favorite dining spot. The ambience was great, and we loved the variety of authentic Malay food, especially the delicious sambal prawn and the fun DIY rojak station. My sons thoroughly enjoyed the live pasta station where the chef cooked their chosen ingredients on the spot, while my partner loved the excellent dim sum and traditional kuih-muih. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, with a special shoutout to Miss Mas at the main entrance reception for being so kind and informative. To make the night even more special, the talented live singer/guitarist even performed a birthday song for my son. We were lucky to visit on a peaceful, uncrowded day, and at under RM60 per person using a Klook voucher, it was worth every sen!

buffet with only village-style cuisine, if you are looking for a buffet that has a variety of food (not just Malay food) this is not the place, haha, the name is "Kampung Kitchen" after all.

Great value! You can enjoy many different Malaysian dishes at once. The environment is comfortable and clean, so you don't have to worry about hygiene and you can avoid the hot weather.

So worth it!!! After the discount, it was only RM35 per person, and it's a whole course buffet. Definitely worth getting.
