What to expect
- Hitachi Seaside Park (including admission ticket)
The Hitachi Seaside Park (國営ひたち海浜公園) covers an area of 200 hectares and is home to a variety of flowers, presenting a different beautiful sea of flowers in each season. The most attractive of these is the Pieris flowers that bloom from mid-April to early May every year. When in full bloom, the entire plain and hillside are covered in a sea of pink-blue flowers, the same color as the sky and the ocean, creating a magnificent view.

- Ashikaga Flower Park (including admission ticket)
This place was selected by CNN as one of the top 10 must-visit travel destinations in the world, and it is the only attraction in Japan selected! The most famous thing in the park is the super huge century-old wisteria flower "Big Wisteria", which is breathtaking. There is also a flower tunnel made up of more than 350 vines of various types that you can admire. Don't miss it. We also recommend tasting the wisteria ice cream in the garden, which is full of fragrance and unique.
A special car will take you to two popular scenic spots, allowing you to easily see them all!

Reviews
I recently joined a flower field group tour and had a wonderful experience. The tour guide was excellent—very attentive, well-organized, and managed the schedule perfectly. The driver was also fantastic, driving safely and providing great customer service throughout the trip. Overall, I was truly impressed and satisfied with the service. Highly recommended!
The meeting point was easy to find. The main purpose of this trip was to see the flowers, so you have to choose the right time. This time, the butterflies were in full bloom and the wisteria was about 50%. It would have been just right if we went a week later, but it was enough. What was different about the trip was that the itinerary stated 2.5 hours in the Seaside Park, but the tour guide only gave us 1.5 hours. It was really rushed to take pictures of the butterflies and tulips, not to mention lunch, which we had no time to eat. It is recommended to buy rice balls at the first rest stop so that we would have more time in Ashikaga Park later. However, the schedule was set to leave Ashikaga at around 4 o'clock, but we left at 3:40, probably because we were afraid of traffic jams in Tokyo!
2 beautiful flower parks in a day. Value for money! the bus is good n clean, the tour guide is very informative and helpful. however, timing wise a bit rushed at both parks (about 90mins each), while the park area is huge. understandable considering the distance between both parks. Maybe can arrange separate tour itinerary which allows participants to spend more time at each park.
Overall it was very good, but there was a lot of traffic on the way there. Plus, there were people getting lost at both attractions. This results in very little time for visiting. There simply isn't enough time.
supposed to have 2.5h inside itinerary for hitachi seaside park but when we entered the park at around 10:45am we had to return back to the bus at 12:20pm (the bus was parked super far away), leading to us having not enough time to explore both the menophilia and tulips area and had to rush back. was a pity that the wisteria hasn’t start blooming but there are still tulips, roses, some wisteria trees as well as cherry blossom in the ashikaga park.
Purchase online and arrive at the designated location to collect and report on the same day. The tour leader Ms. Liu was very friendly that day. She repeatedly confirmed the departure meeting point and time with the group members, and stopped at rest stations for a short rest on the way there and back.
During the trip, the Pieris flowers were in full bloom and were very beautiful. There were as many tourists as flowers, so it was not easy to take good photos. The stay was a little short, but it was well worth the visit.
The boarding location is very convenient and easy to reach (Tokyo Station), but it's a pity that the blue butterflies and wisteria were not in full bloom on the day of the trip, which was a bit of a pity.
We were lucky enough to arrive at the place where 80% of the flowers in both places were in bloom. Except for the fact that it was not a sunny day, everything else was very nice. The National Seaside Park is too big and the bus parking lot is far away. Please note that it is best to reserve more than 20 minutes to walk back to the bus parking lot to avoid being rushed!
We’ve joined many tours via Klook, but this was by far the most disappointing. The guide made no effort to accommodate non-Chinese-speaking guests. Despite the tour being advertised as conducted in Chinese, Japanese, and English, all commentary was in Chinese. There was zero English spoken, and only brief, logistical Japanese. When we boarded and asked if we were in the right group, the guide shrugged us off. Throughout the tour, she ignored us and spoke only to the Chinese guests. At one point, she even asked the group (in Chinese) if she should switch to English. The Chinese-speaking participants themselves suggested she use English for everyone’s sake—but she continued in Chinese anyway. At Ashikaga, she handed tickets only to Chinese-speaking guests. We had to ask twice (in Chinese) before she gave ours. She was completely unapproachable and uninterested in helping non-Chinese guests the entire time. The bus driver was actually more helpful and welcoming than the guide. To top it all off, the Ashikaga Flower Park was bare—no wisterias in bloom, which should’ve been made clear beforehand. This tour felt like a complete waste of time and money. We felt excluded, ignored, and disappointed. Klook should take this seriously, and we believe a refund is appropriate.
