I had a fantastic visit to the Kuranda Koala Gardens. It was such a unique experience to see koalas and other native Australian animals up close. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing interesting facts about the animals and their natural habitats. The park is well-maintained and offers a relaxing environment to enjoy wildlife. I especially loved the opportunity to take photos with the koalas and watch them in their natural-like setting. It’s a great place for families, animal lovers, or anyone wanting to experience a bit of Australia’s wildlife. I highly recommend visiting Kuranda Koala Gardens when in the area.
It was so much fun! It's not huge, but it was nice to see the koalas, wallabies, and kangaroos quickly! And it was accessible because you don't have to walk much if you take the bus! Birdworld isn't that big.
Here you can see the smiling kangaroos of Western Australia, so I don’t have to go to Western Australia to see this cute figure. There are many cute and colorful birds in the bird house, including cassowaries. There are so many butterflies flying in the butterfly house, it's really dreamy. Although the three museums are not big, you can spend more than half a day to appreciate and watch them slowly.
Just buy on Klook and read the booking code to enter. No need to queue at all, very convenient luoin
The area of the zoo and the bird world is also very small. The zoo has a koala hug session that can be booked in advance. There are not to mention many animals to see, but there are some special animals in Australia. The parrots in Bird World are very beautiful, but they are very partial to eating bird food.
We got the ticket to all three attractions - good value for money. All the attractions are ‘boutique’ - quite small but the animals seem well cared for and if you have little kids, it’s a good option so you don’t have miles to walk around to see a variety of animals.
This is my third visit to this place and I never get bored here ...my family enjoyed the park and feeding food and fruits to the birds.... lots of variety of birds to watch!!! Also koala interaction and butterfly garden is good !!!
I originally wanted to pay extra to hold a koala for a photo, but I arrived too late. The staff said the time had passed, so if you want to hold one, be sure to check the time slots. Although I couldn't hold a koala, being able to feed the kangaroos was also very nice. This zoo is a bit like a small farm. The kangaroo area is open, and you can take some food to feed them, which is free.
