I bought this as I was able to secure a reservation for ramen making class using the traditional bamboo movement (admission excluded) which can only be bought on the official website…Klook made it VERY easy to bypass a long lineup and save time by offering this admission. a QR code was scanned and tickets were instantly provided for entry. The museum has history and a beautiful ramen alley in the basement. The wait times are over an hour long during lunch and extremely crowded so having the ramen making class provided food and an experience the admission to the museum would only provide. @aodakeuchi
Great food hall, makes you travel back in time and forget you are in 2026. Easy to find and fun activities like making ramen noodles from scratch & customize your own ramen bowl to take back home. experience: Amazing service:Hospitality facilities: Intriguing and very cool ease of booking on Klook: the easiest price:Awesome price, can't be beat.
Seemless access. Upon arrival at the museum, the staff will need to scan the digital voucher and voila, they will issue you the printed ticket and you can now enter the museum. Purchase this voucher to avoid the long queue of buying tickets on site.
We visited the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum with my family (all adults — parents and siblings) and had a really fun time. One of the best parts was the DIY ramen activity where you can customize your own cup and even upload a personal photo to print on the lid. It made such a fun and memorable souvenir. The ramen restaurant area downstairs had an amazing atmosphere and was enjoyable to explore. Ordering was pretty easy since the ticket machines had English translations available. I’d still recommend using a translation app after getting your tickets though, as some parts afterward are mainly in Japanese. The exhibition displays and information pieces around the museum did include English translations, which was very helpful. The only thing I wish they had was more vegetarian-friendly ramen options as well as some chicken-only choices, since I can’t eat pork for health reasons. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back again!
Very educational about ramen and the city of yokohama. Totally recommend to eat ramen downstairs. Cheap, delicious and legit Japanese Ramen
it was a nice little museum with a noodle making experience (did not do) but i think the main attraction was the food court part of the museum. the ramen was really good surprisingly and there were many different types you can try according to your tastes. i didnt get to try the desserts (looked very cute and tasty) bc i was running late to the next event but def check this place out first then the cup ramen museum! but leave a good enough time in between to try out multiple ramen flavors in the court. it takes like 40 min to get to cup ramen place so leave a good buffer if u can.
The Showa-era setting is beautifully recreated and feels very nostalgic to walk through. There’s also an old-fashioned snack shop where you can buy packaged ramen and a variety of Japanese snacks, which adds to the charm of the visit. The ramen dining experience was enjoyable overall, although the queue was quite long. If you want to try the hands-on activities, please note that the Chicken Ramen Factory and the Cup Noodles Factory are charged separately. Also, the Cup Noodles experience is more about customizing and packaging your own cup rather than actually making the noodles from scratch. Overall, it’s a fun place to visit, especially for ramen lovers and families.
Visiting this museum turned out to be such a delightful surprise! It’s truly a must-do experience in Yokohama. We weren’t sure what to expect at first, but it quickly became one of my favorite museums. If you’re a ramen lover, this place is absolutely worth your time. The immersive setting transports you back to the early 1900s with incredible attention to detail—it feels like stepping into history. The atmosphere is fun for all ages, and exploring the variety of ramen shops was a highlight. We chose to wait for SHINDo Ramen, the newest addition, and it was well worth the patience. Lines can be long at many shops, but the flavors and experience make it worthwhile.

Guide

  • Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum is the world's first Ramen-themed amusement park!
  • An exhibition area where visitors can learn about the history and culture of ramen is also located on the first floor
  • The “RAHAKU SUGOMEN LAB” is a popular spot where visitors can make their own original cup ramen
  • Eight ramen shops are showcased in a street-scape replication from the year 1958, Japan. It was in this year that the world's first instant ramen was invented

The world's first ramen food amusement park where you can eat, learn, and make ramen.

In addition to the “Gallery” where visitors can learn about ramen with a focus on its history, there is the “RAHAKU SUGOMEN LAB” where visitors can make their own original cup noodles using photos from their cell phones, and in the retro 1958 townscape spread out in the underground area, there are not only famous ramen stores selected from all over Japan, but also Showa-era retro coffee shops and candy stores. One of the attractions of this area is that visitors can experience the good old days of Japan along with excellent ramen

This plan is subject to priority admission. You will be guided into the museum through the priority entrance without standing in line at the entrance gate (however, you will have to stand in line at the ramen stores)
