A must-visit when you're in Bali! The free shuttle service is a great bonus and makes getting there so convenient. The park is beautifully designed and set within a former limestone quarry, making excellent use of the natural landscape. It's an impressive attraction that's definitely worth visiting.
A truly impressive and memorable experience. The sheer scale of the iconic Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park statue is breathtaking, and the cultural performances and views throughout the park make it a must-visit in Bali. What made this visit even more special was that we invited our driver and guide to join us—his first time visiting the park as well. Sharing the experience together and seeing him enjoy and appreciate this incredible landmark made the day even more meaningful. A wonderful blend of culture, history, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bali! 🇮🇩✨🦅
Tickets do not need to be exchanged on-site; entry is with the existing code. The grounds are large, but there isn't that much to see. The buggies (ticket 40k) are not worth it because the route from the buggy station to the main attraction is very short. It's better to walk up the hill. The giant statues are very impressive. The cultural show is nice to watch.
It was more convenient for us to enter the park continuously using the pre-paid ticket here at Klook. Just show the qr code to the staff :) very beautiful park and structures! the tour inside the GWK statue has a separate fee that you can pay there at the counter, recommend that you take that also for more info on the park and its history.
We were here early April.Booked the buggy that would take us up to the GWK which saved alot of time & energy going upto the statue & back down again to entrance. When booking buggy you need to purchase the amount per people in your group.Buggy without windows was perfect.Did guided tour within the GWK which was very informative. This is a MUST.Tour guide spoke English clearly, felt a bit rushed because I wanted to read everything, tour guide goes with the flow & readiness of the majority which is understandable.Tour lasted for an hour20min.take umbrella4instant shade.Buggy picked us up from GWK&dropped off to cultural centre for show.Had2walk further down past tourist shops&indomart til we saw next buggy pickup area&hopped on which took us all the way down back to carpark. We hopped in buggy that had windows,BIG MISTAKE because it had no aircon, lucky I had my fan.Prices for tickets&return buggy is cheap. Amazing experience!
We booked this as a last minute thing, as we could see the big statue from our hotel and wanted to see what it was. our driver dropped us to the parking area and we took the free shuttle to the entrance. we started walking and exploring straight away and forgot buy the passes to use the golf cart so ended up walking to the statue. it was hot but not horrible. and lots of photo stops. once we got to the big statue we booked our time, and had an ice cream. when it was our turn we went up to level 9 then level 23, and there is lots of interesting things within; how long it took to build, who was involved, how it was made, how does it compare in size to other statues, and views from the windows. I enjoyed this stop, and also the gift shop is very decently priced, we got some magnets for our collection, my daughter got a wooden musical instrument for less than $6.
The process was very easy, we just need to provide the given QR and we're good to go. Huge place to discover, hence there will be a lot of walking. No worries, buggy train is available at certain stop.
A well-maintained that’s worth a visit if you’re exploring Bali beyond the beaches. The park is with English-speaking guides available to help you understand the history and symbolism behind the iconic statues and cultural elements. Getting around is easy — trams and buggies are available for hire. There’s a decent souvenir shop, plus a few restaurants on site for food and drinks. Payment is hassle-free as they accept both cash and card. Transport is straightforward too: Grab can drop you at the lobby (where you’ll take a tram up to the ticket counter), or directly at the entrance if you’ve already purchased tickets. One thing to note — shade is limited, so come prepared. Bring an umbrella, hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water. Overall, a pleasant and educational visit, especially for first-timers or anyone interested in Balinese culture and monumental art. Solid experience, just don’t underestimate the sun — it has zero chill ☀️😌 took us 2 to 3 hours walk-around.
