Kaohsiung: Qijin Surfing Experience

The female instructor was incredibly attentive! I've taken surfing lessons in different places before, but the instructor here was truly able to provide specific, helpful suggestions for improving my technique. She also offered constant encouragement throughout the process, which boosted my confidence. The photographer took very natural and beautiful pictures too! This time, it was right before a typhoon, so the waves were excellent and perfect for practice. The instructor also mentioned that surfing here is ideal from May to December. The overall experience was fantastic, and I'm already looking forward to planning my next visit. I highly recommend it!

Terry was my instructor in a small group class. He was very good at explaining the different steps and made a difficult sport seem fun as a first time learner. Everything, from dry practice, to pacing, to getting the final photos was fantastic. The instructing team was even super nice and went to get us coupons for hamburgers after the lesson 🌟

Had a great time. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and was sure to brief us on etiquette and safety when out in the water. I’ve had a few surf lessons in other countries but this was the first time where I received very thorough instruction and learned a lot. unfortunately surf conditions this year haven’t been the greatest and waves were flatter than they usually are (although it is Cijin Island so even on a good day one must manage their expectations).

The instructors are very serious and dedicated in their guidance, and their English is very fluent! They are also very patient and experienced in working with children, providing a great surfing experience for them!

This is my first time surfing. The instructors are very professional and enthusiastic. It’s very interesting. Trying to stand on a surfboard in a short period of time really gives me a sense of accomplishment. I will definitely come back if I have the chance.

I'm so incredibly happy! The coach is really nice and great at providing emotional support. They teach very thoroughly, so no matter how difficult it is, you'll always be able to stand up. Highly recommended, it's absolutely worth it!

The coaches are very attentive! It’s easy to get started even if you have no experience. It’s enough to play in two hours and get enough exercise. You’ll definitely want to do it again next time. Super fun! 🤩
